@@charleshollinshead I'm in Ireland - I have a Eurosport online subscription so I can watch the races live, but I don't think they have them on demand. They also don't seem to broadcast the pre or post race interviews stuff that was always on the FE TH-cam after. Bit of a pity to make this change without announcing it, even though it was never a given they'd continue to do it. Thanks for the info though, I hope that helps people in the UK!
Somehow, Mexico City seems to be the best track in Formula E as well as Formula 1, despite the Formula E version of the track being highly modified compared to the F1 version (it's much shorter for one thing, which makes sense). Actually the FE version is almost (almost) an oval. That'd be pretty fun to watch, Formula E on ovals. I don't think the cars are really built for it though, not yet anyway. One day though, maybe.
There is some great racing in formula e, but can we mention how many times we expect an overtake to not be possible and then it does happen and were always suprised. Its like we forget just how good formula e is.
can u clear things up for me ? how are the rules in formel e for overataking ? didnt fully watch the vid yet but first clip stoffel's overtake been kinda illegal , for me he clearly been outside the track limits ( white line ) with all 4 wheels and therefore should have given the position back since he breaked to late and didnt make the corner inside the tracklimits and therefore it has been an illegal overtake expect formel e has different rules
the cameras always moving really takes away from how fast they seem to be, and the only time they’re not panning a ton is in corners where the cars are not moving as fast. the panning shots look good at times but other times it makes the speed look very underwhelming, which is unfortunate because in reality that’s not the case. F1 has this issue also, but with formula E, every single last shot almost is a panning/zoom shot besides onboard shots, which to me are the only shots that feel as impressively fast as they actually are in real life. not to dismiss the shots, they’re sometimes great, but when it’s alllllll the time it has an effect on how it feels. at least for me, the on board makes it feel a lot more scary and stressful. in a good way. it’s hard to comprehend how fast the drivers have to react and how crazy it is for them with all the panning shots.

Formula E is rather slow, they only hit 180 mph. They are slower than LMP cars

In FE they usually set the track limits to the wall so the white lines usually don't count for much.
