Thanks Eric Persing Spectrasonics et al for Omnisphere 2. Really loved finding worship oriented sounds presentation... After sitting thru some demos of products where you see the patch categories of clear acoustic beautiful gentle, and i'm thinking oh pick those, all the cool guys head for edgey gritty ass-biting dance floor impress everyone how cool they are....but it is great to hear some beautiful sounds. Some do like them.
I don't understand all the negative comments when it clearly says " For Worship Musicians" smh.. It's like tons of other Omnisphere 2 videos on this site!
Atheists bristle with antagonism when God is mentioned because the ego hates what the atheist claims does not exist, but their ego knows God exists. Can't hate what doesn't exist.
Oh, for Pete's sake. Do people not understand that contemporary worship music is a genre like other music genres? Would you complain if there was a video called Omnisphere 2 Walk-through for EDM producers? Or Omnisphere 2 Walk-through for Hip-Hop producers? A video like this is meant to point out what in Omni 2 is of particular interest to players in a certain genre. That's all. Lighten up.
I think we should just disable the comments section for all of these silly comments that say omnisphere is catering to only one genre of music/people. Grow up!
+Dave Kelly I bought it last week, great but no decent piano. Lots of synth and sound fx etc but not too much basic instrumentation, no brass. If you were making sounds and music for video games this is the one to get. If you want to make music I'd get a korg kronos.
Hey guys i have a question. So i'm thinking about getting Omnisphere 2. I have a Macbook Pro late 2013. This are the SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS FOR ALL USERS for Omnishpere 2 • 2.4 GHz or higher processor • 4GB RAM minimum, 8GB or more recommended • USB2 Port, Broadband internet connection or Dual Layer compatible DVD-ROM drive • 64GB of free hard drive space My question is that will my macbook be able to support this? this are my specs MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013) Processor 2.3 Ghz Intel Core i7 THIS IS MY MAIN QUESTION MY MAC IS 2.3 Ghz not 2.4 Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M 2028 MB 500 GB Flash Storage i have used 299.52 GB as of right now.
Yeah very ensitive people..Only .people who are more sensitive then religious people ironically which is hilarious will let the mere mention of a religion they care nothing about deter them from purchasing such an awesome vst....it's a versatile vst that covers a multiple genres so why exclude one because it has to do with something you don't 😂 🤣😂 🤣
+Rob Mitchell This was a demo they asked me to do that was particularly geared towards Worship Players. Sweetwater initially mistitled it (fixed now) The Regular Omnisphere 2 Introduction video is for all audiences. Feel free to check it out.
The reason I dislike the whole Worship marketing ploy is because it's so damn profitable. Let's face it, religion is, and always has been, BIG BUSINESS. It's not only selling salvation, it's a highly cushy business model that allows for things construction of huge monuments (Megachurches) that bring followers to fill up the coffers. Christians love to feel special, so when you tell them a certain sound or piece of gear has been tailor made for them, they'll shell out quicker than you can say hallelujah. It's rather pompous to call a sound a "worship" sound when anyone can use it, or a worship board or whatever technology this greedy religion chooses to appropriate.
This is an extremely foolish comment. Not all Christians are so gullible like you are claiming, and if we kept everything in the 1900’s and never evolved as a body of Christ, we would be obsolete. God has given us the tools to reach the masses so don’t be an idiot!
Cool software but I hate the term "Worship". It's essentially just Christian church music but it's church music for white people otherwise they'd just call it Gospel. Rather than being inclusive and joining and expanding the music made famous in black churches they decided to detach and start their own genre. Doesn't exactly sound like the word of Jesus that they're often selling.
+louderthangod Worship music is done in black churches, never seen it in white church, all the worship musicians on youtube are black guys. And they all play incredibly well.
Maybe I'm just used to the gear page forum being full of white guys playing "worship" music while referring to black church music is referred to as "gospel"...it's certainly not my scene so I'm definitely no expert.
Eric Persing Except that only 1 religion actually uses it and the vast majority of them are white and the vast majority of black church music use gospel which has been around a lot longer than "worship music"
You've got it wrong. Sort of backwards in fact. The music industry usurped the term "gospel" to refer to music that sounded as though it was performed by black churchgoers. Musicians regularly use the term "gospel" to reference that kind of "inner-city" sound, whether they are religious or not. Using the term "worship" is actually trying to retain the original religious meaning, whereas "gospel" is used in the music industry to distance certain sounds from the religious background.
jesus loves omnisphere
Man!!!, This cat is a blessing

I think we should just disable the comments section for all of these silly comments that say omnisphere is catering to only one genre of music/people. Grow up!
Official Omni 2! DM for prices!
Does this synth have any usable traditional sounds?
+Dave Kelly I bought it last week, great but no decent piano.
Lots of synth and sound fx etc but not too much basic instrumentation, no brass.
If you were making sounds and music for video games this is the one to get.
If you want to make music I'd get a korg kronos.
+jonesgerard what about experimental or psychedelic music of all kinds?
if you want piano and real sounds, keyscape
So the Omnisphere was designed by God...correct?
Yes. You can't tell by the sound?

Mind you, this type of marketing will bring home the bacon for spectrsonics. There is Hillsong in Aust, they control triple j also
That is a setup to long for!

His eyes while he reads stuff.... Dude.. This guy needs glasses.
You will too, about when you hit 40. At least that was when for me. :-)

+Tom Barnachum This was a demo particularly geared towards Worship Players. The Regular Omnisphere 2 Introduction video is for all audiences.

Dude dont you understand english or let me ask can you read???

Jesus touches me where I like it while I use Omnisphere 2.5. I like Wormhole too. It has that naughty devilish kind of approach. Is that Bi?
Just talk about Omnisphere, and not worship/religion.
+Rob Mitchell He should not talk at all. He talks too much in fact. I just want to hear some sound, lol.

You mad bro
Let me guess another atheist
way too high priced for this type of basic ROMpler sound that's evolved very little in the last dozen years.
WTF?!?!? Hollyroller style?? NHAWWW what a turn off Mann!!

+louderthangod It's a general term used now for all "Houses of Worship" regardless of denomination or culture. Applies to any religion actually.
