I followed your content for te Araroa daily and your trips in the Himalayas. I’m so excited for your journey at PCT. Wishing you safe travels and journey! Looking forward for your daily updates!
Absolutely love your passion and enthusiasm. Have the best time and look forward to seeing videos but look forward to your return for more Australian adventures.
Hey Cam - Can you do a PCT round up YT video please mate. Caught some stuff on insta but would love to hear some of your walk stats/ gear reviews and stories from the trip 👍🏼
Great video. Thanks for sharing mate. I'm a keen hiker myself and would love to do the PCT someday. Currently on the big lap of Australia (just North of Perth now on the Coral Coast). I also make TH-cam videos :) What camera / mic will you be using for the PCT? Are you carrying a laptop or editing on your phone? Cheers, George
@@CamBostock awesome! Sounds like the lightest way to go is editing on a phone. Need to practice that more, especially for long form content. Just checked out your packing list video too which was helpful! Hope you have an awesome hike mate, keen to see the content! 👍
I'm a little confused, if you're going to target that kind of daily mileage, why would you start at the end of April. You should be starting mid May at the earliest.
Have a great time ! will be looking forward to your videos.

Hey mate, sounds like an epic trip! I’m just using my iPhone to film and edit everything. Bringing a long the Rode Wireless Go II mic. 👌

What floor Matt are you using with the durston?
ThermARest XLite 👌
Did you have to visit the consulate multiple times? Normally it is just one visit right?
I had to do 3 visits due to some documentation issues. Could of gone smoother in hindsight
@@CamBostock Oh wow, thanks for the info. Good luck on the PCT!
Timothy Olsen ran the Pacific Crest Trail in record time, running a total of 2,653 miles in 51 days, 16 hours, and 55 minutes. 😮
So impressive!
Didn’t his record get beaten by a Belgium guy?
Karel Sabbe broke that by a significant margin, averaging nearly 62 miles a day.
@@christopherhaak9824 That was a great doco he put out!
