Filmed on a blustery and very cold winter's day, back in January 2000. Sadly, the world famous "Pleasure Beach", along with "Blackpool Tower", were closed for the season.
The rumble of the trams. The sound of the incoming tide with salt on your lips The sounds of screams at the pleasure beach The smell of food everywhere. Miss it
Thank you for posting this!!! I’ve been wondering what the hell Broswers indoor market was called for flipping years!!! 😂 I remembered the indoor market well but could only remember that it became Hartes in later years. Browsers was the sister indoor market to Pricebusters and I remember it being advertised in there. Great memories 😊
This is the first year I ever went , brings back great memories of the time … the cars the dress sense , how Blackpool looked at the time , it’s changed a lot since - some people love it and some people hate it - Blackpool is the marmite seaside town of the uk 😂
Thank you so much for this. Blackpool is my home and it's always good seeing old footage of it 👍👍

I've been to Blackpool multiple times. It's cool to see videos from the olden days.
