32:10 that is unreal.
Even better than ant's butthead impression
It's been years and I was at work and Gandolfini was brought up and in my head I heard "I fucking died" from Max's impression and I started laughing out loud.
The period around 29:00 when they all shut up and listened to the actor's studio interview is what made the show great. It was so easy to forget this was a radio show and not just random conversations. Not sure if we will ever have a show like that again.
We won't.
It's a difficult situation
I never watched The Sopranos til I needed something to do during the pandemic. It's easily the best show ever made and the biggest reason was Gandolfini.
My dad loves all the great shows, but won’t watch sopranos. It kills me.
@@Gmenpg I have a lot of friends who won't watch the Sopranos despite my recommendation that it's one of the greatest shows ever to be shown on television. I just tell them to give it a try and they will end up binging the show like I did.
Try Six Feet Under.
I've been watching Sopranos since 2000. No need for some dumb bored zoomer affirmation. I already know it's the greatest show. You're late to the party, dick.
@@pianoman551000 they and the guy's dad you're replying to don't deserve to watch it.
You think they'd watch something like "Join the Club" and get anything out of it?
They need quirky but loveable Marvel characters to relate to
That Tony Soprano impression from Max was fucking incredible!
James Gandolfini did a great Max impression.
Tsss tsss
37:32 max using his inner gandolfini to break him out of his ambient rant was amazing
He reportedly ate beef and sausage by the fuckin' carload.
Gabaguuuuul
creepy how close how max sounds like Tony.
I'm prostate with grief.
Losing my father at 18 was devastating. 9 years later.
That “wow ambien’s cool” is hilarious
Never had the makings of a varsity lifespan
😂 lmao!
Really bummed out when i heard the news he died.Him and George carlin really got me.Felt like a knife in the gut.
Fucking loved Sopranos.
Hey Sonny, what happened ? I thought Tommy Vercetti from Vice City wacked ya
why works carlin get you? he died at completely normal age, in fact he died late for a guy with a heart like his. he should have died in the 80s
Anthony and Jim doing a mystery science theater thing would be amazing
Ant,Jimmy, and CQ
Ant, Jim and Colin Quinn/whichever other old friend of the show doing ANYTHING would make this shit world a lil better
Excellent excellent idea. Maybe even a live version from time to time
Max should have kept the impression consistent.
he was upset and on medication
+firemaiden34 why you gotta break hissh fuckin bawllsz heah. He's only a man! lol
I think the boy was fucked up. I got well bent when he died. I think I must have been the only person in South Africa who watched the show.
@@johnas9092 stay safe my man
They actually started filming The Sopranos in '97, so he was 34 or 35.
Even though he was younger than I am now.. (37) I still feel like a kid watching an adult
@@WTFBUTWHYIsn't it mad? I'm 36, and I happened to see Friends was on tv the other day. I remember watching it years ago, the characters seemed like fully grown adults, young, but adult.
Now they seem like literal children to me 😩
43:32 perfect christopher as well, this guy is good
Opie sucks! AAAHHHHHHHHH!!
Sopranos was so good.
"This one fawkin hurts?" that's all Opie ever can say when someone dies. He probably posses it as a question because he's not able to feel empathy
@J V lol he did what??
It will probably be his last words
With that barely interested, slurry voice. Pretending he watches anything.
@@robertstraw9881 I’ve noticed opie always tried taking tragedy and reverse it so people feel bad for him
He was doing cocaine in the hotel room and drinking and smoking.
Imagine being a legend and then you die and opie has a take on it
I had the hots for meadow.
Mark Winberry dat ass
Bubbusss's
Up until she slept with a mooly
Watch out for Jackie jr.in a (Tony accent)Jackie juniuh!
We all did
I've noticed since binging OA uploads that whenever anyone is discussing an actor/actress/musician/movie....the only contribution Opie makes is grumbling "amazing holy fuck"
Mom and Dad having a moment. Mom hitting dad with facts and daddy just getting angry.
James Gandolfini the actor when playing name Tony Soprano from HBO original series "The Sopranos", has died joining with Tony Soprano 1999 to 2007 quality imagination justice including movies role cameos times amazing, James Gandolfini was 51 years old.
Max Koch is amazing. His TH-cam channel is too. He's the guy imitating Tony, in case no one knows what I'm talking about...
Gretchen RAAWER that you in the picture?
Is he still doing Tony's voice today? I seen his youtube videos like 6-7 years ago
Opie is like how long are these genius soprano clips because we need to get back to smoky from Jersey
26:32 if only you knew of the absolute abomination Many Saints of Newark at the time
David Chase wtff happened?!??!
He never had the makings of a varsity athlete.. too much eating and cocaine
Surprised he could carry so much food with those small hands
Small hands. That was his problem.
didn't he almost drown in three inches of water?
Every dog has his day
7:45. Uh no. None of us forgot
why in the hell did james gandolfini leave us so soon?
Big man, lotsa shitty food, and alleged coke use.. all of that is not good for your heart.
He ate sausages by the cart load
Big ups for the Ron Paul avatar!
He never had the makings of varsity athlete
@@DedHedJosh thanks.
I fucking died...
Gandolfini was one of only 3 celebrity deaths that really got me down. John Entwistle and Rik Mayall the others. Anthony's right though, it was more the loss of Tony Soprano, I think. Maybe.
Tom Petty’s death is the only one that really sucked
Ant sounds hungover here lol
fucking love dwelling on the most depressing aspects Jimmy 6:15
David chase confirmed a few years ago tony did in fact die at the cut to black. For years he said he wanted the audience to make the decison for themselves but recently said hes suprised so many people didn't believe he was dead despite the fact chase felt he left adequate warnings and clues in his show leading upto it to see that ofcourse he was killed
That fight shook me to the bone
" I'm fuckin dead" 🤣
Opie confusing whining with entertaining.
no, i snuck into the morgue and took a picture of his corpse
How about backing off on the bitrate. No sense in buffering a damn radio show.
Coke will make your heart explode eventually.
Coke and a whale of a belly.
You can't get away with ALL the bad health decisions all at once
Where the fuck are full episodes again
Or as Marion would call him “James Gandolfeelie”
Gandolfini and Falco were the best in that show, so realistic.. and then the kids were total dogshit.
Either just bad writing for them, poor acting or a combination of both.
Jocko Adams the characters were great... The lesson was that kids suck
I always loved how Tony was always in charge unless he was in that house. Carmela really did have his balls, and even though he was a ruthless mob boss you could tell that he still struggled with stuff that every parent struggles with. A truly beautiful complicated character. I always think about that scene where AJ tries to kill himself and Tony saves him. The show was brilliant, and all the characters had so many layers.
I didn't think the kids were too bad. They were the weakest characters, but even the weakest link on that show is pretty good.
The writing was great. The acting was average at best, but it's hard to find great child actors.
Um it's gandolfeeli
Aww, James Gandofeely died.
My fucking parents
That is the single best impression I’ve ever heard
could have*
Bet "that rock" got stuffed up his nose , you know...for acting !
Damn o&a was a really good show.that shit imploded.who knew it would all go to shit.hey,we got a chippa podacast out of it.Boun Anima,Tony Gandolfini😢😄
Damn! I could get used to that already dead!!
Max Koch is a God
Does Tony ever get revenge on the guy that raped his therapist. I wanna know, because I'm season 4 right now???
Nope. Melfi never told him, she thought about it, she mentions it to her therapist, but that's as far as it goes.
@@Odawg292002 this guy did a video playing out what would happen m.th-cam.com/video/6MMlo4oZCus/w-d-xo.html
Nothing depresses me more than hearing that gandolfini was my age when he started sopranos. Or finding out that I'm the same age as LeBron James. I'm such a loser lol
Lol bro I'm right there with you. 36 now and have the same exact thoughts
Max dragged on for waaaaaaay too long...hack
Another poster boy for living healthy. Exercise and good diet are really easy if you have the tiniest discipline.
Or you can croak. up to you.
Or waste time exercising, eating shit food and dying anyway. You people kill me. I suppose I shouldn't smoke or do drugs either huh? Get outta here with your dumb bullshit.
@daledenton1132 I love how you fat fucks are taking about health like it's some sort of myth.
They talk about the guy like he was Robert Deniro or something. He was a good actor, but let's get real already.
Bullshit, you have to be a world-class actor to continually find more layers in a character for 6-7 years.
Gandolfini was at the same level as De Niro, Pacino, Nicholson, and all those guys.
What are you gonna do?
Technically every picture of him is before he died...
Too soon...
What is for the baby boomer generation wearing black nylon socks with sandals, makes my toes curl.Thats one tuff generation...rip James....good sir.
I'll take that over all the face/neck tattoo tiktok generation any day.
wow, at first that Max sounded bad because there was no material for that call. but that clip of him doing Tony and Melfi was fucking hilarious and really good!
No it sounded perfect right from the beginning
