I agree some of the best international food I've tasted have been in Bali. It makes perfect sense when you think many of the chefs worked on luxury cruise liners during their early working years.

This was such a perfect video to watch. Thank you! I was thinking about a life post the pandemic and was visualising my honeymoon in Bali (I am not married yet!). I would really like to see the offbeat sights of Bali, and not the touristy stuff. Relaxing in Ubud and finding myself through classes and walks sounds like such a perfect thing to do.

Lol I always pronounce Canggu wrong! I stayed in a hostel there (run by a guy from Adelaide!) and pronounced it Changgu so I went with it!
Kuta is my guilty pleasure. Many people aren't keen, but it grew on me!
It may be Lombok but the Gilis are my FAV!

Not a fan of Kuta, too touristy and full of prostitutes.
Gilli's are awesome been a couple of times.
I am currently living in Seminyak, been here 4 months, some great restaurants(Check out Honey Bees, cheap local and western food) and a decent nightlife.

Thank you so much! I personally don’t like using cabs if I can avoid it, we’ve had some drivers try to overcharge or change the price. If you do have to use a cab, I believe bluebird are the more reliable and either agree on a price before you get in or insist they run the meter. We usually hire a scooter and drive ourselves or, for long distances, organise transport from drivers on the street.

Little Grey Box Hidden Canyon Beji Gwangju, you climb though the canyon. It amazing and breathtaking. You have to jump across rushing water climb walls etc. Had a ball!

Thought this would have been more practical. For e g. How to book flights, airports to fly into, booking accommodation apps etc. Tours and discounts. This took more of a tourist/marketing angle

Will do! And i know you have talked about it in a few videos, but is Kuta a good place to avoid? Im not really into the party scene but my fiance and i defiantly want to find some good places to get drinks and meet with people
Yeah if you’re not into the party scene I’d avoid Kuta. It’s straight carnage. Check it out if you feel like you want to see it but don’t stay there or base your trip around it. There are so many cool beach bars in Seminyak and even Canggu now too. Great music, awesome people, good drinks. My favourite are the ‘bars’ run by locals on beach chairs on the beach. Cheap beers, just super chill.

Try going around the other indonesian places like raja ampat, mount bromo, mount rinjani, komodo island, borobudur temple.

It was actually booked and planned for me so I don't know the name of the exact provider but we went in Ubud along the Ayung River, there are lots of great providers so I'd just choose one that offers an experience I want for a price within my budget and has some good reviews :D I hope that's helpful, have a wonderful day and a great time when you visit!
