It's right when they say golf is a game where a man shows his true character and the display by you pair of Muppets towards Stu today after a couple of good shots only proves it. The banter and sledging is a bit over the top at times
A bit over the top? Well past that. Liam needs to realise he doesn’t need to try... it’s his natural character that people like. Just be himself.
Liam, I have read some of the comments already made and I agree with them. Recently you really have become quite aggressive in your verbals, particularly when another player should be given quiet. I have commented on this before. I hope you take notice of these comments. It would be a shame to lose subscribers after all the enjoyment given in the past.

Golf Mates - Liam, I come to the Chanel a coupe of months ago and have watched daily from Aus. I must admit though, that this is the first time that Mr Barlow, and yourself to a degree have gone over the top. You had a good win today, but no dignity. Agree with a lot of the comments. Stu had to deal with far too much here and the banter was close to being unkind. He showed remarkable patience, particularly with people talking on his back swing. Obviously a very nice guy. C’mon fellas we’re supposed to be Golfmates.

Sorry to be critical Liam, I usually love your videos, this time I didn't, and I've looked through the comments and I agree with many of them, it wasn't banter, it came across with me as if it was deliberately trying to put your opponents off, that's not how your play golf with your mates, if one of mine did some of the talking like both you and Steve did today, they would end up playing on their own or wearing one of my clubs, you can't talk in someones back swing or when they're preparing to hit a shot, that's not golf, both you and Steve are were out of line today please tone it down a bit

It appears I'm not alone in having had quite enough of Mr. Barlow. This is getting pretty boring.
Yes, I'd like to hear back and forth bantering, Stu stand up to the Dick, some of his shots are laughable. OMP as we know never has a bad word to say, Liam can give them back, but to the Dick it just comes natural. That's why I'd like to be the Dick's partner even if his golf would be a handicap :)
Mr Barlow’s banter is just stepping over the edge here. I prefer the talking stops when a player addresses the ball, not on his back swing. I also like the ribbing on each hole ends when you walk onto the next tee. I find it builds up tension (the not nice kind) and often bites you on the bum. The venue looks lovely.
Think that 'Stu' should be provided with ear protectors to protcct him from the barage of inncessant banter., amusing though it is. Give the boy a chance guys.

TBH I was getting a bit bored with Mr. Barlow in the Scotland videos. He’s only got three sentences that he repeats and repeats. In this Video it went from funny to abusive in the space of one and a half holes. Stu just happens to be a 3 handicapper, who just might be having a bad day, and having a guy like Mr. Barlow in the flight, becoming more and more obnoxious as the game went on, didn’t really help. Mr Barlow is spoiling these videos for the majority of people watching, so I think you’ll have to have a word Liam, otherwise all you’ve built up over the last months could rapidly disappear. I for one will not be watching any more videos when I see Mr. Barlow is involved. Just my opinion like....

Banter is well and good but at least show some decent sportsmanship and remain silent when someone is about to prepare themselves for the shot. It’s not just in the back swing you know. Keep your banter for after the shot is played! You may all be mates but I think you are now very close to cheesing people off and that would be a real shame. I for one think it’s gone far enough!

There was a comment from a Grandfather about the Golfmates the day of the video I'm talking about. He said his grandsons were no longer to watch Golfmates because there parents didn't like the innuendos and bad behavior. Youth is the future of golf, if you turn a blind eye that's on you. I watched the last video today, was much better. Even said so in the comments, so I'm going to keep watching and commenting maybe keep the bad behavior in check. And maybe some day you'll appreciate it. People will keep watching and you won't lose any more grandsons. Hope you tell Liam what I said. Hope it makes him think. I was looking forward to watching this, but honestly it was a disappointing display from both Liam and Mr Barlow. I gave up half way through. If that's how you play golf, I wouldn't want to be a part of it. Obnoxious, loutish and unsporting behavior.

Too many Brandies and Hienies for OMP. The banter is fabulous. Three handicapper off the tee, 16 with the wedges and putter. Barlow is fantastic with the trash talk. I had a chance to experience it in person back in March when he was in Orlando. Love the man and would play every day with him if I could. Wonderful person to spend time with on and off the course, Truthfully, Ebay Pete would be as fun to watch with this group as well. It is interesting that every time Stu and Steve play against each other, Steve seems to have the upper hand. Does Stu not handle the pressure? Hard to believe a 3 handicap gets muffled like that. It's a mental game.
