They sure are. I've never seen that before either. Very neat! Kind of makes me want to get bees again to try it! Thank you Igor. We never thought we would get to do something like this!
We were on Oahu for a week years back. Lots of history there. Glad to see you 2 ventured out to Hawaii. Some people never leave there yard. It’s a big world out there
It sure is. We never thought we would ever make it there either. We are very grateful to Carole for buying us tickets to go. The farthest from home we have ever been is Australia about 15-20 years ago now. That was a similar deal. Cindy had a friend that lived there and said she would buy one ticket if we bought the other one.
Good morning Muskrat and Cindy, glad you are having fun in that warm weather ! Its 8° here on Saturday morning in north central Pennsylvania ! Bless you both ! Doug in Pa...
Good morning young man and Cindy. Great video and neat bee store. Our lizards are frozen this morning till the sun comes out. Been a cold winter. Have a great weekend.
Good Morning! That was fun to see. It's funny, here in Idaho, in the 34 years we have lived here, we have only seen a few lizards. Half dozen at most, but there, they are everywhere!
Good morning Gary, Pretty interesting how that fella made those sculptures. Those little Lizards seem to be all over in those warm climates. I like how they can just trot up a wall. Thx for the video, brother! You folks have a good day
Good Morning! They are all over! Really fun to see them. Here in Idaho, I've only seen a few lizards in the 34 years we have been here. The Bee Art was really neat! No two would ever be the same.
@ well your building memories now. I’m thinking for a women she really loves getting away an having a beautiful time talking with her friends an being with her husband while doing it. While in a very warm place. God bless you guys 🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸☺️✌️🇨🇦
@NonTypicalRacing yeah the wood stove drys everything out pretty good but I'll be hauling water from the creek until I get the money to fix the pipes and replace the section of wall I'll have to take out so I can get to the pipes to fix them. Thanks for asking have a good day
@MuskratOutdoors there's a big outlet store that sells bees and keeping equipment in Fort Atkinson WI, been there w/my neighbor. They're born n bred in 🥶!
When I was growin' up, Mom would take in kids durin' the day to baby sit, mostly neighbors who were two income, or single working mother type situations. One little neighbor girl, Dad took a shine to, started callin' her "Garbage Can Kate". Just a wisp of a thing, cute as a button, and she'd run in and jump on his lap as soon as she come through the door. 'Bout 20 years ago, her, and her by now widowed mother, finally made it to Hawaii. While walkin' a foot path on one of the volcanoes, Kate was stung by a wild bee, apparently she was allergic, and with no atropene, passed away right on that foot path. The Folks were devastated, because by now, she was a beauty, with a couple kids, and always visited the Folks when she was in town. Yep, Garbage Can Kate. What a Gal!!! Take er easy!
Dang.....thats terrible. A lot of people are allergic to them. From what we saw of the big island, the roads aren't really that good, and it's crowded enough help would be slow getting there. Gotta be a good story behind that name!
@MuskratOutdoors Not so much a story as something that just rolled off the tongue, and it stuck. Had a Sioux girl that started spending school year with us, then return to the Dakotas, home the rest of the time. She became Sy-Ox Sue between her and Dad. My brother called her that once. Once. Dad had a name for most people he liked or loved. I was "Coyotee", fer some reason. I didn't mind so much. The Old Man bein' my Hero and all, he could call me about anything he wanted.
We thought so too! It was a really neat place. I really liked that manikin head artwork. I never thought about doing something like that. Kind of makes me want to get bees again to try it.
I don't know if it's hard for everyone to find bees locally, but I don't even know where to start. My Aunt and Uncle were caretakers for a commercial apiary, and they didn't even know who to call. My goal is to have enough hives for a small honey harvest, maybe 20 gallons, but focus on breeding queens primarily.
Good morning. About 15 years ago i looked into having bees. My research suggested that it would be difficult to keep them alive long term. I never got any bees.
Good Morning! We had good luck the first few years, but one by one, we lost our hives. It's a lot of work, and a lot to go wrong. We really enjoyed it, but spent way too much money on it to make it worth while.
Muskrat, glad you and Cindy are enjoying your honeymoon moon anniversary trip! What a nice gift you folks received. Nice to see good things happen to good people 👍. See you soon.🇺🇲🌲🔥🔪
It was unbelievably nice of them. Carole has been a great friend for over 20 years now. We haven't known her sister Marlene quite as long, but they are both great! Hard to beat friends like them.
Good mornin and many blessings. Pretty cool tour. The sculptures are awesome. Looks like Kevin modeled for the one with his bald head and flowing beard. LOL Have a great day Gary.
Some pretty amazing art work there. No idea how he did it but wow. Those lizards look like green anoles. They sell them at a lot of pet stores. Never seen em in the wild. Really neat. Enjoy the day👍👍
I think that is what they were? The bright green ones I think are some sort of gecko? The artwork, you put inside the bee hive box and let the bees do their thing. Pretty neat! I never thought about doing that before.
Good question. I should have asked him that. I didn't think to ask. We did tell him about our bees and he said he thought is was because of our mild winter this year. He said to get warm in the day time, enough that they were out flying, then cold at night was hard on them. Who knows? It's frustrating, but after seeing that bee head artwork, I kind of want to get bees again and try it!
Good Morning World Travelers 😅😅 . Sure would be fun to go over there to Hawaii 🎉 . But I would be looking for Hula Dancer's with grass skirts. 😅 Lota money in bee's I've heard. I once worked for a Guy that got paid $ 1.00 per hive just to store bee's out of Idaho for the winter. 😢 Have a Great Day, TRUMP is kicking butt and taking names, AMERICA is back !😊
Good Morning! It really was a lot of fun. We didn't get to see any of those wiggly butt girls in the grass skirts....kinda wanted to!!! Bees can be profitable for sure, but we sure couldn't make it work. Yeah Trump is off to a great start! The next 4 years should fix a lot of the crap the Democrats have ruined!
I'm only just learning beekeeping. I have the intuition that bees which are acquired from the same general region as where they're destined to live, have a genetic familiarity with the climate and geography. I'm curious if this might be why you're having some issues? I'm certainly nowhere near knowledgeable on the subject, but I've been working on your situation in my head since your first video with the bees. Lol. Certainly no criticism, friends.
It's fun, but there is a LOT to learn and a LOT to go wrong. I don't think anyone really knows all there is about bees. I hope you have better luck than we have. The first few years, things went great, but when it started to go bad, it was a real struggle. If you can find it, there is a magazine called "The American Bee Journal" that is full of great info. The bees we were getting were raised there, at least the Queen was, but the rest were born here, and were supposed to be a Russian/Italian breed that was cold hardy....who knows? Talking to the guy there in Hawaii, he said he thought we lost them here because of the mild winter. He said when it was warm in the daytime, but freezing at night, it's really hard on them. He said a constant temp is better and a lot of people actually put them in climate controlled cold storage buildings in the winter.
@MuskratOutdoors that sounds logical. :) There's a lot to learn is right. I hope you guys have better experience with them in the future, if you decide to try again. Prarie Wind Apiary in Cheyenne is where I have been interested in getting my bees. Cheyenne WY. it's similar enough to my area that I think they'll be acclimated for the climate. Thankfully, much less wind. Lol. It's a goal to try. Too late to get started this year again. I forget the last 2 winters to order bees and have their home setup.
Ya should try buying your Bees From Manny Lake in Minnesota if'en ya decide to stick with having bees that is Mr. Muskrat. They may survive your winters better at least Sir
It's worth a try. The bees we got from here are a Russian / Italian breed supposed to be cold hardy, but who knows? After being there, where it's Summer all the time, it makes me wonder.
Happy day Muskrat, personally I LOVE the Lizards!! Thankx for taking us along. Enjoy and GOD BLESS 👩🌾✌️🇨🇱
US TOO! They were everywhere! It was really neat!
Good morning! You see somethin new everyday. Pretty neat. Thanks and have a great day!👍🦎🐝
Good Morning! I thought the bee artwork was pretty neat. I've never seen that done before.
Good Morning 🌄
GOOD MORNING!!!!!
Very interesting!👍🏽😊❤️🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed it! I've never seen that done before. Makes me want to get more bees and try it!
That’s a long way for a queen bee to come. It’s amazing that it was still alive when it got to Idaho! And such a change in climate!
It is! I guess it's no wonder they cost $40 each.
Thanks for sharing, nice video brother and Cindy. 👍
Thank you too!
Amazing sculptures, I've never seen anything like them. Thank you so much for sharing, have a great vacation for you and Cindy!
They sure are. I've never seen that before either. Very neat! Kind of makes me want to get bees again to try it! Thank you Igor. We never thought we would get to do something like this!
That's gotta be the coolest video ever! Straight up from kaufman County Texas!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!
That's was so cool looking at the sculptures. Thanks for sharing with us.
Wasn't that neat? Never seen that done before. I kind of want bees again now to try that!
Good morning😊
Good morning Amye!
Good morning, this looks like a fun tour. I’m impressed with the sculptures. Thank you for taking us along. 90,000 bees per sculpture 😮
Good Morning! Those were neat! I've never seen that done before. I wonder how he cleans the honey out without destroying the comb?
@ I’ve been trying to figure it out. I don’t know how he’s able to do it, but I’m impressed! 🤔
Amazing how they make them. No matter where we go we can always learn something and have a great time. Looks like you both are having a great time.
It really is. I wonder how he cleans the honey out without wrecking the comb?

You guys are having a blast 💥 my friends. Keeper coming the videos. Awesome 👏 ❤
We sure did! Still got more to come, then it's back to my normal frozen Idaho videos!

Good morning muskrat and Cindy have a great day thank you for the video that sure was cool to see
How's the water mess going? Getting it handled n dried out I hope.

Good Morning! Thanks! It was fun to see this. Our bees were actually from across the road, but it's not open to the public for tours.
Doesn't sound like fun.....

Did you smuggle bees home in your “bonnets”? They could create a lot of excitement on a plane over the middle of the Pacific! Thanks for the tour!
Ha! It sure would!
Good mornin and many blessings. Pretty cool tour. The sculptures are awesome. Looks like Kevin modeled for the one with his bald head and flowing beard. LOL Have a great day Gary.
Good Morning! HA! It does look like him! I've never seen this done before. I kind of want to get bees again and try it now!
Their prices on honey are very reasonable! Especially considering it's ACTUAL honey. That's cool to see they aren't greedy.
Honey is expensive....that's why we took up bee keeping....to save money! HaHaHa! We would have been better off just buying it!
Morning
Good Morning!
Thay is wild looking for sure ,interesting y'all enjoy
