We also (more in the south of England) like to say 'have a butchers' almost as much as 'take/have a gander'. Nika had a sword and a shield in this chapter. The "wings of the Pirate King" are Zolo a swordsman and Sanji a modified human who is nearly indestructible. Luffy has his sword and shield.
It's funny that the giant think Brook is from another race. Good thing for Jinbe that the giants are not racists like the people of Wano that killed Kawamatsu's mother. It's cool that we have a mention of Oars and it's interesting that he is legendary fierce warrior among giant race. I hope Oda explains more about the race of Ancient Giants in Elbaph.

Regarding the world being destroyed twice, I think it was with Nika's time when it happened the first time, and with Joyboy's time when it happened the second time (thus the Void Century)
gunko may be a past slave and eventually lost herself and has become one of the god knights as a "weapon" of some sorts could also be why she didnt respond to the celestial dragon question.
The thing that weirded me out is Stabs asking for informations on Loki just like Shanks did with Hongo for Kidd. Also, Nami has talked to Lola about Loki and she knows their whole story, we might get some kind of storyline between them (maybe a kidnapping just like in Strong world since there are similarities since the start of the arc.
Let's remember Madam Shyarly's prophecy, which stated that Luffy would contribute to the destruction of Fishman Island. Perhaps Luffy is the God of Destruction, and Loki possesses the Liberation Fruit? Sounds like a nice plot twist :D

Luffy is probably the only "Sun God" because to the audience Luffy is depicted as a liberator and the embodiment of freedom but during multiple fights Luffy is increasing shown as a 'demon' to those he is fighting. His eyes went red when fighting Kaido and just recently with Rob Lucci & the Gorosei. People throughout the OP world do not support the Strawhats. Loki's lore seems like it's more likely to follow Kozuki Oden's. Oden was seen to be a joke, menace or a disgrace and I feel like Loki will be the same all while holding a secret to protect his people.
I want Luffy to nevertheless figure it out, partly because it’s funny, and also because if he embodies Nika without knowing it makes the whole chosen one thing make more sense. Since if he ever finds out he might not do it because he’s being forced to do it. Also Luffy felt comfortable around Loki so that basically makes him a good guy.
To your last point about Loki wanting to "End the World". refering to it in a way where the layers of the tree symbolize their "World". Since the water level has risen probably Oda knows how much in 800 Years, what if Every 400 years the tree has lost a world , so they keep having to cut it for it to grow up again. I still don't think they want to truly recruit Loki but steal his devil fruit abilities. Its probably easier to lure him to the holy land for an easier extraction(special technology there, Imu killing him, person doing same technique as BB)....Remember when Dory said some of the gorosei df forms looked like beast from Elbaf, maybe some of those fruits were stolen/taken from elbaf in the past.

I feel like depending on what side you’re on determines how you think of the “Sun God”. If you’re fighting against the Sun God then you are more inclined to believe that the Sun God is a God of destruction. If you are fighting with the Sun God or the Sun God saves you then you’d be more inclined to believe he is the Sun God of Liberation.
Loki doesn’t seem to be necessarily evil, but is more “angered” by the world. It seems the contrast between the two nika’s will pay off, as Loki is seeming to contrast both luffy and dragon. Loki shows that he is sadden by death but this death will stir him to destroy the world. For dragon, the O’Hara citizens deaths were the storm for him to be a revolutionary. Maybe, instead of Loki being evil, he will do the things luffy cannot: destroy fish man island or be able to kill. Just things in the nature of the “evil” side of Nika.
So now it's definently confirmed that the hooded shanks is not shanks, as they did say that they had no information on Loki, but yet Shanks fought him and resides in Elbaph, unless they do some crazy ploy twist where the government and shanks tricked the giants that way the giants could potentially side with the government. I disagree with you on one part. In a lot of media, fire is used to describe destruction and creation (like Twin Peaks or No Country for Old Men). It is much more likely that Loki is the sun god of destruction, but he is more representative of the Destruction that comes before the Liberation. With this chapter likely confirmed that the holy knight are not all celestial dragons. It makes me believe that they recruited, strong races from around the world, even likely extinct ones like Kings race. We might even see a buccaneer in their ranks or even a three tribe member as a holy knight.

Regarding the world being destroyed twice, I think it was with Nika's time when it happened the first time, and with Joyboy's time when it happened the second time (thus the Void Century)

Luffy is probably the only "Sun God" because to the audience Luffy is depicted as a liberator and the embodiment of freedom but during multiple fights Luffy is increasing shown as a 'demon' to those he is fighting. Loki's lore seems like it's more likely to follow Kozuki Oden's. With this chapter likely confirmed that the holy knight are not all celestial dragons. It makes me believe that they recruited, strong races from around the world, even likely extinct ones like Kings race. We might even see a buccaneer in their ranks or even a three tribe member as a holy knight.
