I really liked my Mazda2 Sport. Had it after owning an MX5. Basically the closest thing to an mx5 in shopping cart form. Drove it far harder than i ever drove the mx5 and had nearly the same fun. Rev hang on shifts was my main annoyance. Oh and i didn't try to induce rotation. The chassis is already overstreer biased. I left DSC on basically all the time even in very spirited driving since its pretty inobtrusive. Great car. Id own another one
Agree. Had a 1.5 3 door Mazda 3 sport as my first car, kept it for 5 years. Absolutely loved that thing, called it Becky and everything. It was honestly the perfect first car. Such a brilliant handler, especially after i had fitted some Eibach lowering springs. Only thing i didn't like about it was the heavy and vague clutch, but that was maybe because it was worn out. Have since upgraded to an MX-5, but i do sometimes miss my little Becky
I have My first 1.5cc Mazda2 with 2024 design and absolutely fun to drove it with reached 167km/hour and the engine still stable in that speed on highway road.
120K on mine...Happily buy another one...Its been a dream car! Guess that's the 1.5 Sport? Looking at a Kia Picanto 1.0 Turbo...or 1.2.. GTLine. But....If I can a low mile 2 again...
Thanks Joey. Great representation of handling. I have the Venture model 2013. We can see you have the Sport model. Please tell us what mods you have done to the original spec. Thanks, Tony
The Venture models are nice😁 The only proper mod I’ve done is add a Whiteline RARB which helps stiffen the rear and make it more controllable. I have a video on this mod
@@JoeyWarnerOfficial Thank you Joey. Yes I've watched your excellent video for the whiteline. I'm very tempted to do similar to my Venture. Life is full and many projects that draw my attention. Keep up the great work with your 2 Sport.
I've just bought my Mazda 2 Sport as a first car, only 78k on the clock. Is the clutch quite unforgiving or am I just not used to it because I learnt in a diesel?
Na mate you're good it adds gas by itself but you should also add gas to help the car as its not gonna be as forgiving as a diesel but deffo better than other petrols
Your worried about taking your car in track yet drive like that on the road. The track is far safer than the road 😂😂😂 Next video every wants to see you on track again.
Had a mazda 2 as my first car for 18 months, brilliant fun! Now upgraded to an MX-5 and it's even better 😎👍
Nice! I also want an MX5😂
@@JoeyWarnerOfficial you won't regret it, if you don't have enough friends for the back seats anyway 😅

I bet the springs did wonders for the car! Nice upgrade, I really want an MX-5 myself
@@JoeyWarnerOfficial it handled fantastically, but it did make the ride quite harsh

i bought a m2 recently! glad to see you back 😄
Congrats on your purchase, enjoy!
Killing it my bro!!! More pov drives like I said they do really well 😅🙌
Cheers bro! Need to link up soon

Clutch is quite sudden. 😂
also first car, took me a bit to figure out perfect clutch and throttle handling
Great choice for a first car!😁 On the Mazda 2, the clutch should feel quite light and the biting point should be low.
Na mate you're good it adds gas by itself but you should also add gas to help the car as its not gonna be as forgiving as a diesel but deffo better than other petrols
I also had a 1.5 Mazda 2, and know what you mean. It doesn't have the lightest or easiest clutch in the world, it takes a bit of practice to be smooth
yippee just bought this as my first car, not seen 1 bad review for it compared to other cars!
Thought you were dead 😂 good that you're back!
Haha apologies! I’ll try not to have 6 months off again🥴
Been waiting so long for these videos I've already got one now 😂 watched the other 2 povs so much
Hope you’re enjoying it😁
Love your videos bro im currently torn between getting a 1.3 or 1.5 would you say there is a massive difference ?
Thanks for the support😁 There isn’t a MASSIVE difference but it’s definitely noticeable
Hey man, I want to upgrade apple carplay to the car. Any suggestions? Been watching your video !
*Who else is watching this in the shower?* 🥰
Yeah, pushing some milk out of you I guess.
😂😂
How to tune this car and how many hp can you get please?
How much quicker is it to the 1.3? Looking at getting one of these as a fun little car
There’s a noticeable difference in torque. The 1.5 pulls a lot better
I’m inspired to buy a Mazda now! #letsgomazda
That’s what we like to see💪🏻

Tbf you make a fair point😂
@@JoeyWarnerOfficial 🤪🤪. Videos got to be stock mazda2 Vs race2
what is this? a new video. lets go
Apparently so!😂
Top work Pal.
Breaking the speed limit and acting the bollacks
Love the fact he drives the car the exact same way I drive my Mazda 2 just smash it in second probably the fastest the car will go is in second 😂😂😂
The Mazda 2 loves to be ragged😂
how is insurance on these for a 17 year old? pls lmk i want one so bad idk why lmao
What is the tyre size of your car?
Stock tyre sizing is 195/45r16 on those wheels
Yay!
Bought my first car the ts2 the other week, such a nice first car man.
Congratulations! They’re an amazing first car
Would love to see a m2sport vs yaris t sport vid
Yaris quicker. M2 Sport better handling
a fiesta 1.6 has the exact same everything but 20 more hp thats what im getting
Despite the Fiesta having slightly more straight line speed, I can imagine the Mazda 2 and Fiesta is quite well matched in terms of handling
I cross shopped both of these. The Fiesta is a little heavier and the gearing is longer. The actual difference isn't super noticeable between the two.
mazda 2 or seat ibiza
have fun but dont drive stupid. some blind spotts there.
Wrong comment They will see you in next life 😊
Over revving the engine.
