"The Pride of Arizona" lived up to its name that day. Not only are a great band but playing our fight song was total class. Playing U of A is always tough because you just can't hate these guys. Class from the top down and everywhere in between. They're the school you're rooting for whenever they're playing anyone else.
That was the beginning of the season. Most places don't have straight lines the first few weeks, not even the best drum corps have perfect lines in the beginning. I would wait and judge until you see the end of the season videos. Especially since POA has been ranked as one of the top college marching bands in the country almost every year by some of the best composers and music professors as well as athletic band instructors, including Robert W. Smith. So I would wait to judge until you see the rest of the season. I bet your band or if you do marching band wasn't perfect nor had straight lines in the first 3 weeks.
