That could have housed five or possibly ten, Irish families. Charity begins at home. Then again, we wouldn`t need charity if the government hadn`t rigged the housing market.
What do you mean house the Irish. Irish do not matter any longer in Ireland. Did you not notice. The joke gets bigger and bigger and only the ordinary persons keep suffering. .
No Irish would stay in that place, they'd be on Joe Duffy demanding a Clayton.
@@wolf6543211 I was refering to the money, not the place. But, yes, that is certainly true.
I’m aware of a formerly homeless couple in the midlands still waiting for a SW payment to be sorted out despite the involvement of a prominent TD .
Thank u
😮The EU have eliminated Irish freedom.. it didn't last long..
There is no end of corruption in Ireland.God doesn't sleep.😢🙏
Deep dives into Vesta show that they are owned by Anorien Investments Limited. It’s crazy
how hotels have been allowed to accommodate folk is down right wrong. The amount of foreign registered cars driving on the Irish roads under and over taking at silly speeds on the motorways is getting concerning.
Ukrainian cars, all high end BMW, Merc, Volvos to name a few.... Cars that I'll never afford to buy with the price of cars even one 15 years old is out of reach....
Sharing the pain god love them😢
its not human traffkicking if the government and their friends are profiting from it.
Utter disgrace. But the irish will still vote the same people into government as always. They will moan and moan but will still vote them in. Insanity definition. Doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results
If the election waits until feb I believe there's a chance enough will happen up to then to change their ways. OPW spending money and norma foleys shenanigans is taking it in the right direction
@brianmuddiman9844 Sounds like you're doing an awful lot of moaning about Irish people. If you don't like them go back to where you came from. Nobody is forcing you to stay here.
Totally agree with you
Plenty of money for everyone but the Irish.......thanks Terry, very interesting to know.
Wait, you're saying the owner of the hotel is not Irish? What's your evidence?
@@killbotone6210 Who mentioned the owner of the Hotel?
@saz6452 This story is about the owner of the Hotel and the money , what story are you talking about then?
@@killbotone6210 Oh, you know, that old story of the Goverment of Ireland having money to house everyone but the Irish homeless and Irish in general.
@saz6452 Ahh that old whinge and whine? Now i understand.
Its amazing how you lot keep saying this, encouraging asylum seekers to then travel to this mythical land of milk and honey you created in your head..only to locked in a room with 10 other strangers eating mouldy bread while youre not allowed gain employment. But yeah ,keep telling them if they come here they will be given cars, houses and yacths
. 👍
Why Irish taxpayers should pay to accommodate illegal migrants? Just unfair and illogical.
@pavelonthefire Asylum seekers are not illegal immigrants. Happy to clear this up for you.
Don't think they do, I think EU foots the bill for asylum seekers .
It’s obvious what ever the outcome they Irish taxpayer is the one that’s taking a massive hit.
Would this be that the owner sees the money they're making and wants all the cake for himself????
You just couldn't make this up! I totally understand both sides, MONEY, MONEY, MONEY makes the World go around! Edited to say, may the best man/woman/other win! All is fair in the Justice System, world wide.
Government needs to sack their procurement department and get some really good negotiators in - stop all this greed from people thinking a government contract is a free and easy ride to riches at the tax payers euro.
Stop their mates gravy train??? Yeah!!
Protect the borders
2.1m gross for 12 months in a 35 room hotel is 60k per room. That seems pricey.
The 300 people can't refer to the number of people housed at one time in those 35 rooms can it?
bet there are bunk beds in the conference rooms as well they will cram them in everywhere and still be full no end to the amount coming
Greed surely
Karma, sort of.
Thank you for another interesting and informative video, sad though. This 300 is only 1 days supply of immigrants.
Sour dough Day!
The migrant pact opt out is now law...and these debtor's are the first casualties..if they can pay their creditors with IPAS centres guaranteed...then they don't get their own management plan until they are going concerns again.
No homeless or asylum seekers should be staying in hotels, it's a catastrophic waste of tax payers money. There needs to be more investment in safe and suitable government run centers, that can accommodate these people in need.
