Don’t be hesitant to visit and film any Thai temple, they are all open to the public and as long as you are respectful, filming is not a problem, at least in my own experience Hamid. There are many amazing temples scattered all over Issan! 😊

Thank you, Roy! That’s great advice about visiting and filming Thai temples - I’ll definitely keep that in mind. 😊 I’d love to explore more temples in Issan someday! Wishing you a happy and enjoyable time in Mexico

A majority of the people in Isan are of Lao descent. Isan was once a part of Laos. That is why Lao is still spoken in that part of Thailand.

Thanks for sharing this interesting fact! The cultural and historical connection between Isan and Laos is truly fascinating. It’s amazing how languages and traditions from the past are still so vibrant in the region today. Have you been to Isan or Laos yourself?

I was in Laos for the first time in 2022. I have been to Udon many times.
I have a house in Udon but right now I live and work in Sweden. I'm going to Udon for 3-4 months at the end of November this year.🙂

@@ajajaj2k4 That’s awesome! 😊 Udon is such a great place, and it must be amazing to have a house there. Sweden to Udon is quite the contrast-how do you balance life between the two? Enjoy your time in Udon later this year; 3-4 months sounds like a perfect getaway! Safe travels! 🌏✈

@@ajajaj2k4 Wow, your lifestyle is really disciplined! Working in construction, saving 85-90% of your salary, and living with your parents is such a smart way to build a strong financial foundation. 🙌 It's amazing that you're planning to retire before 40 and live off dividends from the stock market-that’s a dream for many people!
I totally get what you mean about "existing" in Sweden and "living" in Thailand. Thailand has such a vibrant energy, and being half Thai must make it feel even more like home. 🌴
Good luck with your retirement plans! With your mindset and dedication, I’m sure you’ll reach your goal. Are you planning to stay in Thailand full-time after retiring, or will you still spend some time in Sweden? 😊
