To old and ailing now to follow you two on the road, but I still love to follow you both on the road! Thank you for sharing with us stationary friends!
I was in a tractor trailer accident in September 1983. I was driving a cabover Mack. Previous driver was an anti seat belt driver. Back then they didn't have a retractor. He tied the seat belt in knots under the seat. It was getting dark when I got the truck. I decided to wait till morning so I could see to unknot it. Never made it to morning. The heat wasn't working & it gets chilly in late September in northeast Connecticut. I was suffering from hyperthermia. I was thrown hard against the steering wheel fracturing or bruising all but 2 of my ribs. Coughing or sneezing are the worst. The recovery time varies based on seriousness. 3 weeks is quite low. I was closer to 8. Take it easier than you think you should. That will help. So will a heating pad while laying on your back. I was only 25 then. I'm 66 now. I can't imagine going through that now.😢
Praying for your ribs to totally heal Kelly! I broke 5 ribs & could barely move for 8 weeks! I feel your pain! God Bless you! We love you guys & Hope to cross paths one day! ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
Sorry you both are feeling sore. That makes it worse when you have to pack up and drive. I bruise three ribs playing softball and i put my back out when i tried to lift the front end of a tent trailer so my big window was facing the lake. Later found out i ruptured a disc. But i got my beautiful view lol Hang in there!
Hope you are both feeling better....Ribs are a tough thing to heal.....My family has been at all the races you have mentioned in the past. We often follow and support a California race team that participates in the BITD Race series...so much fun!!! Enjoy!!
Great video as usual. Was so glad you came to Vegas. I knew someone out here that their dad ran in the Mint 400 years ago. When they owned a car repair shop. It’s named after the old Mint hotel downtown. Can’t wait to hear and or see how the race went. It’s been nice weather until yesterday it got really windy and it’s going to get windy and rainy tomorrow. I hope the weather is good where you are at. I forgot to ask how your ribs were while you were here. Hopefully you are getting better. Hope Jim is doing well too! I know if the 1,000 trails you talked about. I had lived near there when I guest moved here. I lived next to the KOA though. That’s the size of church I used to go to here. Just like that one. I hope you both have a great weekend and week and see you next week. Safe travels. Stay safe. Love you both! ❤ ❤🤗😘
Thanks Sherri. We're on the back side of the mountains now and have the same wind and cold. Time to move our home! Thanks again for a great time together and we'll let you know when we come back!
@@SuiteTravels Wow! Cold there too on the other side of the mountain. I don’t blame you for moving. Ok let know when you’ll be back. I’ll be glad to meet up with you.
Lolol dont ever try to drive from Vegas to southern AZ on the Sunday after Thanksgiving going thru Wickenburg! what should have been a 7-8 hr trip took over 11 hrs cuz the traffic was so backed just north of Wickenburg all the way to south Tucson!
There are a lot of cars in Phoenix! We used to have that experience driving between Spokane and Seattle...it's not much fun. Thanks for coming along and have a great weekend.
Hi guys... So sorry about your ribs...Jeanne Says that a backbrace may help while riding in the truck... She will wear one every once in a while .... Glad that you found that place in Vegas... we were hoping to find a place ourselves... Parker and Wickenburg And now Vegas is on the list for next year.... Thanks for the video and you guys stay safe...J&A2ofus
Thanks J&A. We thought about a brace for Kellie but she's feeling better now. This getting old sucks! If you need info about your trip, let us know. Hope to get together soon.
Hi guys!! Hope you have fun in Vegas. Haven't been there in over 35 years!! Fun watching your time with friends. Hope you both are over your aches and pain. Happens more often as we get older!! 😂 Take care...💜
Have to laugh, David and Saundra (Big Truck Big Travels) David could not leave Vegas without getting another "T" Shirt......You'll have to compare the next time you guys meet up. Be safe, have fun.
David and Sandra just left Thousand Trails there in Vegas, bit tight but they found a spot. You need to tell them about where your staying so they have choice #2.
Hey, if their's any canalop from Kandy farm, you should try it,it's some of the best and your close to them. Awesome to see such great places thru your lens. Thanks
@@SuiteTravels no problem, hopefully momma feels better soon, I crashed on my electric bike a few years ago, took over 6 months to get better, sucks being old, someday you'll know what I'm talking about...
Hmmm...just plugged into power and hooked up the antenna. There isn't a lot of traffic on it unless you're on the interstates. Maybe try a radio check with someone??

Parker Alaska!! Made my day, week? Clark County Shooting complex...So much info. Love it. Count me in. Can't wait.
LOL...we were pretty tired!
It looks like you made it through the US 93 construction here in Wickenburg pretty smoothly. Some days it is a mess.
Oh my goodness....it was a mess! Looks like it will be nice once it's done. Have a great weekend.
Have @Wonderful New Year's! //thanks

Yep, your my people on the road, I watch always!

Jim when I saw you rollout, I thought you were leaving your can am behind scared me for a minute.

Well, I have not seen that suicide knob on a steering will since 1968! Brings back memories before power steering became popular!

This getting old stuff isn't fun sometimes Carol! We survived and we're now much better. thanks.

David and Sandra just left Thousand Trails there in Vegas, bit tight but they found a spot. You need to tell them

TT Vegas is very tight and the management wasn't very friendly. After our disaster a number of years ago we will always stay the the Shooting Complex.
If you don't mind saying, what did the truck wash cost there? Thanks.
It was $83 for both the truck and RV Jeff. That seems to be the going rate across the country at Blue Beacon.
@SuiteTravels I will look for them. That's considerably less than I have paid for my coach at times. Thanks

What rv park did you stay at near Vegas?
We stayed at the Clark County Shooting Complex on the north end of town.
Good video 😊
Thank you! We appreciate you coming along.
I injured my back and it was difficult to ride in the car. If it was me I would lie down in the bed in the semi and lay on the side not bothered.
Great idea!
As always, love the video and as always, I look forward to the next one. Stay safe. Have fun! God bless
Thanks Allan. Hope all is well. Get ready, looks like you've got a storm coming...

LOL...thanks.
I have problems with my ribs and I put cold pack on mine
Thanks Darlene. She tried heat and it really didn't help much. We appreciate you coming along and have a great weekend.

This getting old is not for sissys.
Hahaha....so true!
