I can relate to not being able to let go of things, but I think you could revisit your tops because you have soooooo many tops that look very similar and serve the same purpose. So I would revisit the repeats.

for the people who have trouble w/ getting rid of old clothes: take a pic of them and then u can always go back to it and remember the feeling attached to them! that way u can clean ur closet w less stress :) it helps me at least
the struggle of not wanting to let go of clothing is so relatable BUT ever since i've consolidated my closet, my feelings toward my wardrobe has changed drastically! In a positive way. Its more inviting and i feel more excited and motivated to get dressed now 🥲 You can do itttt 💗
Please consider selling your clothes. Donation is fine but it’s not for sure that people will wear your donated clothes and they could end up being thrown away, which is a waste because your clothes are so fashionable and not that old. It’s not environmentally friendly to throw away so much fabric either. I’m sure people are willing to pay for the shipping fees because they really admire your fashion sense and wanna wear the clothes you display. In Vietnam lots of people follow you too and willing to buy your clothes. They’re way too cute. You can just create a separate Instagram account and sell on there, while you sort out your clothes you already recorded yourself wearing them (in this video) so just use those as pics on Instagram maybe and set a price. I’m sure it’ll blow up quickly because your Instagram followers will be notified of this mini online “thrift shop”. This idea can’t be carried out immediately bc pandemic in Vietnam doesn’t allow ease of shipping stuff, but once the situation is better, definitely consider this. If ppl are willing to buy the clothes then they won’t throw them away unlike the risk in donating clothes when unsure if the recipients will wanna wear.
On the other hand, buying clothes just to sell them is also wasteful because you are perpetuating the buying/selling cycle. If you have an incentive to take clothes out of your closet then you will continue to buy new clothes which is almost worse than having a few pieces get accidentally thrown away.
@dr soup she didn't buy THESE clothes to sell them, but once she has that platform established it will be very easy to be thoughtless about what clothes go in and out of your wardrobe if you know that you will always have enough capital to continue the cycle.
If the shipping cost is gonna be really high for international followers it might be an idea to do bundles if things are the same size, that way it's worth the shipping costs cos ur sending like 4/5 things at once rather than just for one item
so great! It is easy to keep clothes but it makes me feel so much better about my coset when i go through and try things on. I think your categories could be smaller like: skirts pants sets sweaters/cardigans coats dresses dont worry, a lot of us will watch them all haha!
