I wish I could check this out. After living in Ruislip, Harefield and Denham Village for 39 of my 46 year life, your videos show me so many new things I never discovered out with my dog or bike.
Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this video. Lived in Uxbridge all my life and didn't know about this. Really fascinating and funny too! Great work, I've shared it on all our social media platforms. Good luck!
As others have said, it's not officially a Right of Way, though it's a useful link between RoW at both ends and in 35+ years no-one has ever objected to it being used. The wording painted on the bridge deliberately avoids claiming that it's a RoW. When the M25 was built the path that leads to it technically became a dead end; local objectors were too focussed on stopping the motorway being built at all to look at the detail once it got the go ahead (let's hope the opponents of HS2 don't fall into the same trap!).
Hi Henry. When I was younger I lived in West Drayton for a couple of years, but never truly explored the surroundings. I was blissfully unaware. Now as an older Gent, I have a thirst for discovery of my old stomping ground - for which this video has been excellent viewing. Keep up the sterling work! (your knowledge of history and especially the rail transportation system is truly exceptional!) Warm wishes, Scott.
Hi Scott, thank you very much for your kind comments! I hope you enjoy explore the West Drayton area and I'll certainly be making more videos from the area at some point in the future.
On the southern edge of the east /west Warwick reservoirs, part of the Lea valley reservoir chain, there is a bridge under a railway line that gives access to road traffic. It has a low bridge warning sign on it that gives its height at 1.5 metres. Yesterday I saw a small Fiat drive under it; as it did so the end of its roof aerial bounced off of the bridge's girders. When I walked under it I had to crouch down to avoid hitting my head.
Interesting video. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news though but the path under the M25 isn't actually a public footpath, according to Buckinghamshire County Council's Rights of Way Map. Probably because it is only 2 feet tall!
@@HenrysAdventures Well, crawl you mean lol. Not sure I've seen anything as low as that. The lowest bridge I know on the public highway is Auchendavie Road, Kirkintilloch. It comes in at 1.3m or 4'-6".

We found this last year and got half way from the Uxbridge side but Mrs B got claustrophobic and we had to walk back! Great Video as always!
That is hilarious. Wasn’t expecting the video to make me laugh, especially the high bit in between the carriageways. Thanks
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed it! :)

This looks so cool. Would definitely be worth visiting. Would most definitely get lost trying to find it though 🤣
Thank you for watching! Its quite a fun little place but not a good place to visit if its been raining a lot.
Great video and interesting topic Henry! Good work. Thank you.
Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed it!
That is just ridiculously low! Nice video
Thank you! When I first walked down this footpath a few weeks before I couldn't believe it when I found it!

intersting covarage
Thank you!
You should write to Boris about this and maybe Lord Buckethead!
Hello Henry. Just something you might be interested in. The now defunct Dunton green to Westerham line. Now partly covered by the M25.
Thank you for the suggestion. Its defiantly something I have considered but not sure at this stage when I'll do a video on it. Watch this space!
Yes we walked this trail and under the bridge 2 weeks ago.

Tight! (edit: meaning 'Henry, what a blinder! Just when I thought I'd seen it all, you go one better. Great vid')
Thank you very much! I really didn't expect to find anything like this when I first saw it!
Super video!!!
Thank you very much!
The signpost you are holding at 8:03 looks like a bit of narrow gauge rail. I wonder if it came from the workings you mentioned later.
It could well be!
Claustrophobia outbreak for me. No way I could crawl through there.
Of course it's a pedestrian underpass that's only 2 foot six high.......it's a smart motorway.
Hell 🔥! Even Ronnie Corbett would have to duck to get under this bridge!
Thank you for watching! I don't think many people could get under this bridge without ducking!

Thank you for watching! Interesting to hear. It still must be the lowest bridge in the UK one can walk under in public place.

Look how low that bridge is
it would be cool driving a lego train through there
How funny, wonder if the council know about this lol Im 6'6 so id have to army crawl it
It's called a foot bridge because it's only 12 inches off the ground lol !

This is a nonsense. 😞 absurd England. But fascinating video. I lived in Colnbrook but never made the connection that it was named after a brook. 🙃
When I was a child I heard people talking about West Drayton, it always thought it was Westraighton until I looked at a map!
😂 😂 👍
Thank you! :)
THAT BRIDGE WAS FUNNY
What ur car look like
Btw it told you to shush
Its a Lada Riva, much more fun than a BMW!
