- Check out the license plate modification to the 2024 CVO ST! This has been on backorder from Costum Dynamics for a while. It finally came in so here is a video of the install. Hope y'all find it worthy.

Yes I just finished mine. I used a little clear silicone the night before on the rubber gasket hold it in place. It worked great to hold the gasket
Put a couple dabs of rubber cement on the gasket to stick it in place while installing
CD needs to make one side of the rubber gasket with sticky adhesive…..🤷🏼♂️😂

Thank you
That was a painful intallation... Agreed on that rear light, looks hideous. Can't wait to take mine off.
As you and many others discovered by these videos this thing is a PIA to order and even a larger PIA to install. Poor execution. Hard pass until another company designs a better product. That was painful to watch.
Painful for sure
It's Harley-Davidsons fault. Why would they install that monstrosity of a license plate light. A little adhesive on the gasket and mounting the cover plate temporarily would probably help.
If you don’t mind can you give us the part number on the back of the wraparound package?
?
Does that weigh a lot?
Any idea if this fits the 24 road glide non cvo model? 🤙🏼🇺🇸
Yes
"It's mine,we're gonna do it." AMEN brother, do ya Thang. Lookin better already.
Thanks for the Support
Good job. next time try a dab of silicone on the gaskets. Might just make your life easier.
Thanks for the tip!
Excellent work. I did mine also.
Nice work!
Little dab of glue on them gaskets would’ve done wonders.. looks slick though.. much better than stock 🔥
Good call! Thanks
Put some painters tape around the area you’re working... your banging your plate all over the place while you’re doing the install… Makes me cringe😊
Thanks
Looks great, would be nice if they colour matched the part, but now I’m just being fussy!
Now that pipe man, hurry up with the video please, can’t wait to see it!!!
Next time you’re dealing with a gasket like that, try a dab of silicone in a couple places and let it set, it makes life much easier on finicky jobs like this.
Keep it up man, this could be a winner for you. Not many people are truly customising their CVO, but the C stands for ‘CUSTOM’
It's coming
Beautiful man !!
Thanks a lot!
I put la chopper 9/1/2 riser and it takes stock bars didn’t block anything and makes it much more comfortable riding position! The stock bars on the bike fit!
Awesome!
The fact that you have to change anything on a 40-50 k motorcycle is nuts but suckers are born everyday.
We are
Got to tape the gasket so it doesn't move. Saw another person on youtube install this part and they used a small piece of tape to hold the gasket in place. He also had to cut a small hole in License Plate itself to clear the wire.
Awesome
A small piece of tape would hold that gasket in place, then remove it before securing the plate to the bike.
Thank you
Nice bike!
Headed to Myrtle this evening. I’ll speak if I see you there.
It's wild down here!
I used blue painters tape on inside of gaskets to hold it on.
I thought about it.
Just a little grease on the gasket and it works fine.
Nice!
I stuck the gaskets on with 2 sided tape.
Thank you for the comment!
Yes much better
Thank You
Looks a lot better.
Thanks
Looks good
Thanks
And you do know installing them mid bend bars will block your view of the dash no matter what riser used? I would not be playing around with parts only to make functionally worse. I own that bike leave it stock. Perfect as is.
Thanks for the feedback
Use a small coating of Vaseline on the gasket. Apply it to the side where it is placed against the light assembly. It will hold it in place long enough to attach the light.
Thank you for the comment!
I used a few drops os super glue
