personal experience but protecting the knotter from rain and snow to prevent rust buildup will keep the knotter trouble free for a long time. Also use a good quality lithium grease for lubrication.
I ended up getting this fixed by taking the wiper arm off of the left knotter. I took it into the local welding shop and they built up the surface of the wiper so that made better contact with the bill hook. Works good now. $20 fix!
start with new twineknife/wiper and adjust they are made to bend need owners manual they have specs or youre local jd dealer if you can fid one who knows what youre talking about if close toray co mo i would fix for free
Easy fix, buy a new Holland :) we went through three 14t balers before we got our new Holland baler and have had 0 trouble with it aside from running out of twine or it needing to be greased xd

I must have gotten lucky, I ended up with a good 14T. I have heard nightmare stories about them but mine is a cream puff so far.

Thanks for the comment. I have since sold the baler.... BUT, not before fixing it. It worked like a champ once I had the local welding shop fix me up.
