even though i bought it for switch and really enjoy it im going to leave it alone for a few days due to a crashing glitch when going in between rooms in the dungeon. the dev is completely aware of this according to discord and he said that there is a patch out for it but it has to go through nintendo before its released.
During the review period, I only had the game crash once on Switch. I'm sorry you're having issues, but I'm glad they're aware and making a patch soon!
So I personally hadn't seen much of Moonstone Island yet, but it looks really good! Moonstone Island looks more JRPG inspired within it's gameplay and interactions compared to Everafter Falls. I guess it just depends on if you want something more "Pokemon like" compared to something more "Stardew Valley" like. They also seem to be around the same price. Thanks for saying this though, as now I will plan to pick up this game in the future. Whichever you pick, I hope you enjoy it!
And they are going to give you the option to turn off the mini game in a future update. I am struggling with the spin speed of the mini game also. But I don't mind getting used to it and practicing.
Combat is kinda simple. We described it in our longer video as NES Legend of Zelda, but with only a sword. Just run around and hit and dodge things. It works well enough and some of the equipment or upgrades can make your swings faster or your sword do more damage. Tl;dr We thought it was fine.
Hi bro, randomly stumbled upon this video and I love it. Was my dream to be a game developer but responsibilities got the best of me. Hope you keep it up
Hi there! SquareHusky definitely put their heart into making this game. I think our review shows the good sides of this game. I hope you get to follow your dreams one day and develop games!
When we reviewed this, we each had only played about 8 hours at the time. One of the trailers hinted at creepy things and will probably be explored later in the game, but this is mostly just a cozy farming sim/dungeon crawler.
This game was definitely inspired by Stardew Valley for sure, and the developer even poked fun at that in the beginning of the game. The difference between this and other farming sim knock offs is that this game has a certain charm that works for it.
I played the demo of ever after falls which in is in the steam store right now (hopefully still is by the time you read the comment so you can try it out yourself). I think it depends on what things you like in a game like this. I like both but for different reasons.

Im torn between picking this game up or Moonstone Island. Do you have an opinion on which one is more preferable to you?

I'm personally trying to decide between ever after falls and little known galaxy. Checking out the demos didn't help me, they are both great.
I definitely want to check this one out, I'm just worried about the fishing. I still don't know how to fish in Stardew on the PS lol.
There are upgrades you can make to your fishing rod to make fishing easier at least! :)

How is the combat? It looks fairly simplistic, though maybe not in a bad way?

yuh
how to apply for free code?
That's... that's it? I had an impression this game had some sort of dark and gory twist (like Doki Doki Literature Club). Pretty dissapointed

yuh i love stardew. id play this!
Sorry to tell you buddy, But for me it almost looks like stardew valley.
Not In a bad way though, but in a way that I have seen it many times now :/

So Stardew Valley for furries?
Not exclusively. Does that mean Animal Crossing is for furries? 🤔
