So, from looking over the lyrics of Shounen Brave and Mary's Fictional world I think it implies Mary subconsciously remembers that everyone is going to die. It is made more clear in the song Outer Science that Mary is indeed going back in time to save everyone. I think it's the same concept as the song Heat-Haze Days, where Hibiya has to repeat the days in an effort to try to save Hiyori. Hopefully the current ongoing anime will eventually give us a clearer picture.

yea, its part of the kagerou project. it started off as a series of songs and a light novel series, later on got a manga called kagerou days (or kagerou daze, dont quote me on this) and the anime mekakucity actors (which is shit). heres a playlist with all the songs in correct order and with subtitles th-cam.com/play/PLc3ovJ5PZjKRleiWwSlIBMtql8nYISZaJ.html and id recommend reading the manga and novel series which both have an official english translation as well as fanmade translations on the internet
