I'm so happy to have a lot of 2nd gen artists doing their comebacks. Sunmi, Taeyeon, Hyo, and then Dasom/Hyorin. This is not my favourite song, i would love to see another like Sober, it was so great and beautiful. Hyo looks beautiful here and the part with Bibi was so exciting. I don't know, but outside of all the people that Bibi colaborated, I feel like here she was the most confortable. They really feel like an unit.

Sad but it's true. Been a SONE since day 1 and I cannot remember how many times I saw some posts from other SONEs that Hyo was the least popular/liked member of SNSD. I think that time, those people saying those are not really fans because if you saw her in INTW both mv and live, her dancing is just amazing. This!!! SM problem is they always give their artists comebacks with years apart, in this case a year. Hyo need a comeback every 3 or 4 months and than she will gain more fans as a soloist
but hyoyeon was also busy with shows aside from music comebacks and they have company schedules so yeah
the comeback was also delay because hyo was trying to make the best out of the comeback she said it herself. she wants the song to be prepared perfectly that's why there's also a bit of a delay in the comeback schedule
the fact that hyo is not able to release music consecutively should make us more happy cause she can rest in between comebacks unlike the previous schedules and that means she financially is able to do that. but i know you're only coming from a place of love for hyo. 💓💓💓
i dont think she's underrated? since 2nd gen kpop she's been really famous and the fact that she'a the main dancer of SNSD is a plus. Even some blackjacks love and supoort her so much. Her last cb with Soyeon is so great too so for me she's really doing great as a solo artist

Girls' Generation is really the best example of growth and maturity of an idol group. All of them have managed to break out of the "just a girl group member" and "just an idol" tags and successfully branched out into various entertainment fields. There are movies, dramas, plays, variety shows, youtube content and also continuing to release music individually. Even the non-vocal line all have songs and albums of their own. They've got longevity, diversity, group and individual success. No wonder they are the role model for numerous young idols.
It would be nice if y'all keep mentioning snsd when it comes to Hyo, this is her solo.
I was afraid how she pulls out bubblegum concept with her husky voice. However, she's not just delivering well but she sets a whole new standard of vocal, rap, and dance in one song by soloist. How is that possible??
Hyoyeon has more I-Fans and her Solo songs chart high on some International Charts. SM should try to take advantage of that, she is a hidden gem for people that know her outside of SNSD. She should get a DJ Tour or Fanmeet Tour.

I mean as espected of girl' generation. If you had told me 10 years ago that I would be listening to many of Hyoyeons solos, I would have cried. She fought for her possition in SNSD, then for 10 years she worked very hard in SNSD. Never half assing anything, always giving us 300%. I stil think she doesnt get what she deserves in terms of recognition, but I know she will forever be just perfect, talented and hardworking.

I don't think it's that, it's just that many SONE are older and most joined the fandom prior to streaming, so buy albums and support the Girls' monetarily, but don't stream (or have time to as they have families, jobs, university, or some combination of these).
It's not fully about her face and voice actually. Ppl nowadays more focus and give attention to 4th gen groups. So, new kpopers don't familiar with 2nd gen groups. I used to feel the same. I started to become kpopers since 2020. However, when I started to watch SNSD variety shows at kcon voyage a week ago, I know them better even I start to like some their works and songs.
