Thank you so much for visiting us and helping me be a zookeeper, Jinny. It was a blast to have you here, and now all the animals are on a diet! Best Niko
There's not too many places where she'd have a chance to try this tho unless like this case where a viewer has a sanctuary like this. She didn't get this hands on at mayas place bc thats more educational
@@IrishSetter01 Every enclosure has dry indoor housing, and we carefully manage the outdoor areas during the winter. When one section of an enclosure becomes muddy, we close it off to allow it to dry and let the animals use the dry section. We alternate between the two sections as needed, ensuring the animals always have access to dry outdoor space in addition to their indoor housing. It’s important to note that on stream, you’re only seeing a small part of the entire rescue center and its enclosures. The areas you’ve seen looking wet were only like that temporarily. Heavy rain, combined with the animals’ movement, can create muddy spots quickly. However, with over 30 years of experience working with rescue animals, we are well-prepared and know exactly how to manage these situations to ensure their well-being. To further improve, we’re currently developing more concrete areas around houses of the larger animals to prevent mud buildup, especially as we experience increasing rainfall each year. Animal welfare is and always will be our top priority, and we are fully committed to maintaining the highest standards of care.
