Crystal only a fool wouldn't hit the like button even before you start. Because that's how great your videos are. You take the time to explain what's being done. Beautiful shawl. 🇬🇧
Lady you did it again. How did we as viewers get so lucky to have such a wonderful creater who shares beautiful art for FREE ❤️💜💖 Crystal you're amazing !!!
I think this a beautiful shawl and I look forward to coming back to this video so I can create it. Thank you Crystal for sharing your wonderful patterns and for making your tutorials so incredibly easy to follow.
Crystal! This shawl pattern is so beautiful!! Wow!! Now, I am looking forward to learning front post and back post and to go on a yarn shopping trip before I will be able to start your tutorial! Yay!!👏 Thank you so much Crystal! 🤗🥰
I like using 3 weight yarn on shawls because it makes for a lighter shawl. This pattern with post stitches gives it a little more thickness. Best of both worlds. You rock Crystal, thank you this great design.
Crystal, this is why I love you. I had the perfect yarn for this, so I started it right away. On the 3rd row of the repeat, where we skip a stitch, you point out that we're skipping the front post from previous row and doubling into the back post. This totally helps keep us on track. Love it! Thank you! 😍
After making this beautiful shawl, which I don't use. I gave this shawl to my Grand daughter and she showed all the other Grand daughter's and now I received back to back phone calls, that I now have to make three more. The girls call this shawl BoHo and all of them want one. Thank you so much for this beautiful shawl in a beautiful yarn and texture. You are the bomb and those are the words of my Grand daughter.
I always get excited when I see a bag o day crochet tutorial. Love your shawl. Thanks so much for all the tutorials you put on and your yarn reviews. Im such a big fan of yours that i look forward to seeing a notification from you. Hugs to ya. Donna 💙💙💙
I actually froged out the virus shawl with my cotton-fetti blend yarn just to use it to make this shawl with it thank you Crystal love this look I'll put the finished one on fb
I absolutely love your shawl patterns. One thing I'd like to try is, to use up scrap yarn, make them smaller, join them together to make a square and join for a blanket. You could make each square the same color or use complimentary colors. Join together with a neutral yarn. Do some kind of nice edging at the end. Even use different shawl patterns for each square maybe.
I have that yarn in blues. I kept collecting 1 ball at a time. Now I have 4😳. Definitely needed this pattern 😁! Now I want to keep track of how 🕰 long it takes me to make😁! Thank you for sharing your talents Crystal, take care 🤗💕!
It's been a long time since I first did this shawl, and here I am doing another one. This time, I'm using some "old" Ice Yarn I have (trying to clear my craftroom shelves a bit lol) - it's called "Magic Glitz" color 66561. OMG it's coming out so pretty and "glitzy". Ice says it's a 3-weight so I'm using a 5mm hook. This pattern just flies off my hook! Thank you, Crystal! 💜
I happen to have comfy cotton blend in Cloud Nine. Decided to get started on it. I wrote the instructions down as you went as i watched and now I'm ready to go. Thanks Crystal. I don't know where my crochet skills would have been without you. Stay safe.
I have this yarn in my stash but in the cream color. I am going to dye a couple cakes and make this shawl. I have been making shawls and wraps for the nursing home my dad stayed at until he passed.
You hit it out of the ballpark again! Great tutorial & lovely shawl. I'm making it with Paintbox metallic DK, Seabreeze. You always are so clear in your instructions. Several of your projects are now in my favorites, including this one.
I just bought this same yarn from Lion in a sale too good to pass up...so I just found my project for it! I LOVE the texture of these stitches and this shawl is wonderful! Can't wait to get started. Thanjs Crystal!!♥️
Hi Crystal. I have four cakes of that same yarn you used, (Spring Meadow), that I ordered from Joanne's many months ago. What a pretty shawl. Thanks so much for sharing. Take care.
Love this pattern. I went up a hook size and did triple stitch instead of double to get a lacer look. Love it great stitch pattern. Wow what independence you have taught me. Thank you.
Hello Crystal! Nice and easy pattern. I am has 2 cakes similar to your shwal but I am thinking use cream color because I am has 6 cakes of the color . Thank you for your tutorial and always your perfect explanation. Stay safe 😷 💖 😊 🥰 👍
I love this. I have this yarn but I thought I'd try it in something that would give it more snuggle factor. I'm half way through it now and I love it. Decided to do this in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness month.
I haven't slept in over 30 hours, but watched this entire demonstration and I'm able to sleep now. I've got the perfect yarn to try this when I wake up though. It was therapeutic to watch the rhythm. That's how I feel while making afghans. I'm going to make this shawl for Christmas gifts. I've saved the video, but I think I can remember most of it. Thank you. Do you knit? I'm attempting to learn. I inherited about 30 sets of knitting needles of all sizes, and I'm trying, but I haven't gotten that down yet. I'd love to see a video of you teaching knitting. What sucks is that I'm going to Hawaii in less than a month for a 10 day vacation, 13 hour flight each way, and they won't allow crochet hooks or knitting needles and that would be the PERFECT time to get some Christmas gifts made.
I saw this on your Instagram post and thought how absolutely this shawl looked....I just wanted to reached into that photo and wrap myself up in it. Going to have to order me some yarn.....😁😁😁
This is a great pattern! I have yarn I have been holding on to because I just could not find a pattern that it would work with LOL and this is it! Thanks! I love your tutorials, all of them. You make even the trickier patterns seem so doable. Hope you had a great day!.
I just love your shawl tutorials. So easy to follow. I've made several of your shawl patterns and I'm looking forward to making this one. You have taught me SO much. Thank you.
I wish God would give me more time in my day to get more crocheting done. This is another one of your shawls I want to make. Thanks for being such a great teacher.
Going to have a knee replacement next week have my yarn stash ready and all of your patterns to keep me busy while recovering this one will definitely be on the list. Thank you Crystal.
Thank you Crystal for another beautiful shawl tutorial!😍 This is similar to last week's shawl but 1 step up in that you have added a bpdc. In last week's shawl you used Loops & Threads Waterford Big 5 weight yarn. I went to 2 Michael's stores and didn't find that yarn. And I loved that coloring! I was going to use a 4 weight yarn and then decided to try Homespun in color Tudor. I am working on that shawl now. I love the texture! I love this pattern too, so making this shawl is next!💕😊

That is beautiful. I have some stitch studio yarn 2 weight yarn that I think would look good worked up in that pattern. I have over a thousand yards, so I hope I have enough. I will try to use an ‘’I’’ hook to make it nice and drapey. Thanks Crystal for giving me an idea to use for that yarn. I’ve had it for a couple years and couldn’t find a pattern that would hopefully look good with it. Lol.
Crystal the fall shawl are very beautiful colors and very beautiful work thank for sharing with every body how are you doing today I am doing fine today stay safe hugs and kisses 💙
Just yesterday I was wondering what to do with my Comfy Cotton "cool night" yarn. I think I may make this shawl for a Christmas gift. Thank you Chrystal!
This is GORGEOUS!!! It looks so drapy and soft....perfect for Phoenix "winters". I've definitely got this saved to do soon; thank you for this tutorial. Much love and stay safe!
This is beautiful and definitely on my to make list. I have never done post stitch so it will be a learning experience. You make it so easy to follow so I think I can do this. Thanks for sharing your video with all of us. You are very special. Your heart is so caring and give so much love not only with your videos but also with your family. Your family is great. Have a question. What does Mister BOD do for a living? He sure loves you and his family. For him to say that he is so lucky to have you is so very sweet. God Bless and see you crocheting.
