Looking good, your making me want to build an outboard powered mono or catamaran for that matter. Awesome build brother Looking forward to its maiden. Interested to see if I'll need trim tabs or not
Thank you big B! I wanted to do a twin outboard cat but figured I'd try this first. Something different from what I've done before. I have a set of trim tabs for it just incase. I'm wondering about turn fins also. I'll find out when I get her in the water.
Thank you, Looking at other rc boats with outboards seems the prop shaft is in line with the bottom of the v. That's where I'm starting. It's at the top of my adjustments on the mount. If that doesn't work I can drop the motor mount down or flip the motor mount and set it deep
@jaymeparker27 that should work good the prop is much farther back than on a full sized outboard so it can run higher ot looks like you have plenty of steering throw outboards don't need much throw due to the turning axis is at the prop. Looking forward to seeing it run

I played hell wire it up with stock plugs I think I may solder a new wire up but I'm just waiting on my servo mount .
My parts came in today. I did solder on some 4mm motor connections.
Happy fathers day. Out of curiosity where did you set your cavitation plate depth at

You won't be able to tell any of that what it's ripping by at forty miles an hour or more
I know. Hopefully I get in the 40s I'll be happy if it just works lol!
@@jaymeparker27 Also jamie I have to remind myself they're just toy boats yeah right
