Technical Ecstacy 1976 and Never SAY Doe are the last two albums with Ozzie ..They don't get he high praises like the albums before these but they are great as well because they just kept changing the vibes ..

Ha! Welcome back. The first 8 albums are Ozzy. 7&8 were not as good as 1-6 but still good. Never Say Die is the first Sabbath album i ever bought at 14 and i love it all the way through. FYI ozzys first 2 solo albums and Sabbaths first 2 albums without ozzy are probably the most important albums in defining heavy metal in the new decade (80s) you gotta hear all 4!

Never Say Die is the last album with Ozzy (until their reunion in 2013) Ronnie James Dio takes over the next 2 albums (Heaven & Hell and Mob Rules)

Black Sabbath never dissapoints. If I had to recommend a Sabbath song that most don't know, and you haven't reviewed, I'd say check out "God Is Dead?" It was released in 2013, on their last album. 43 years after their first album was released.

Welcome Back !!!! - Heaven & Hell and Mobs Rules albums defined metal in the 80's Both are epic and you're mind will be changed. You're allowed to love both versions of Black Sabbath Ozzy era & Dio era lol

@@MarshmallowReactions trust me, Dio was great and Tony Martin was great. If you don't listen to them, you'll be missing out. For example, the song "When Death Calls" is unbelievably good. Incidentally, Tony Martin had the second longest tenure with Sabbath after Ozzy.

Ozzy is on the 1st 8 albums. Dio took over vocals in 1980. Ozzy got fired for his antics

Mate this album and Technical Ecstasy are GOOD maybe not Great albums for them but I love them.
As has been pointed out by others Ozzy was punted after this one
The next album Heaven and Hell with Dio was a spectacular return to form but its different to Ozzy era Sabbath.
Some say a lot better, I'm not one of them but Dio is very very good
Their last album 13 ,Ozzy with the original members bar Bill Ward (a crying shame that) is well worth listening to as well 🎉

What happened as I understand it was Ozzy was fired for being too high all the time and unable to function, and for not cooperating. There are plenty of great albums after this worth checking out. People don't know what they're talking about if they say otherwise. Sabbath was all about Tony Iommi who was always there writing the music. The all time great Ronnie James Dio replaced Ozzy and then Ian Gillan (from Deep Purple) for an album, and the great very underrated Tony Martin. The next album featured the great Ronnie Dio, called "Heaven and Hell, which included geezer and Bill Ward. You should definitely continue on chronologically. That album contains several great classics, including Heaven and Hell, Children of the Sea and Lonely Is the Word. You should react to all of the next album, which is Heaven and Hell. Ozzy eventually came back for one more album called "13", which you should check out after hearing all of the others in between, so you get the full picture.

There's more than one "new guy" replacing Ozzie. Black Sabbath singers: Ronnie James Dio, Ian Gillan, Tony Martin, Ray Gillen, Glen Hughes. Tony Iommi also has a self-titled solo album in which there is a different singer for every song on the album, including Ozzie.

Unfortunately, this is when the cocaine and alcohol takes it's tole and they fire Ozzy. He come back on the 13 album, a whole new album with the old Black Sabbath vibe minus Bill Ward.

@@MarshmallowReactions There are good tracks on both. Remember that my first time listening to TE and NSD was when they first came out in '76 and '78 (I'm 66). I was so used to the heavier, in your face, non-electronic sound that both of these albums were initial disappointments. I've learned to like them both over the last 45 years but having heard them initially before the progressive rock era, well, I didn't care for it.

Ha I'm the same age as you but grew up listening to English punk before getting in to Sabbath. Being pre internet days and living in New Zealand everyone knew about the 1st 6 albums But Tech Ecstasy & Never say Die were virtually unknown. I found both records in a shitty little 2nd hand record store and thought what the hell are these ones and bought them.
Love em both👍but they are different to the classic 1st 6
Not sure what I would have thought about them had I listened when they were 1st released😂
