Hello! I am writing this comment as a student that struggled to fix my laptop's audio. You see, my ThinkPad is second-hand and is definitely out of date, so when the audio got no sound, I didn't even bother to get this fixed on a shop as it meant more work. I just gave up and used this for school purposes. But, there are times that I want to set up the mood to motivate myself by playing music, but I CAN'T because of this issue. You sir are a legend, the first solution worked. For those of you without sound, make sure the box is unchecked before uninstalling👍🏻. After uninstalling windows will automatically reinstall, after restarting your device. That worked perfectly for me!

I didn't even know what I was doing- uninstalling reinstalling latest driver, until after I did, came here to say thanks and read what Tonee Garcia posted. Now I'm going to look and see if you have a tutorial on Aw, Snap! stuff. That's been a headache, struggle to figure out for well over a week now and I'm not talking just and hour or two no I mean 8, 9 10 hours a day some days, 5 or 6 most. I know this paints me as incredibly slow but actually I'm pretty intelligent however put me at the wheel, set me in front of a computer and you'd never know it. Again that's for the tutorial.
