Occasionally some coke, but in those days we used a small bottle and a tiny spoon. Did a couple of toots. Didnt Hoover a gram up at a sitting! This was the ‘70s. I looked 15 when I was 18 so I was always carded at clubs-where I went 4 times a week to hear live music. Rock punk new wave... the clubs and after hour clubs were amazing. A bunch of years ago two young Brits asked me (on the subway) where they could go to hear music. After a short conversation, this is when I was informed the drinking age changed. These girls were 20. I felt so bad for them. They weren’t the sort who would use fake IDs. I only knew of one club in the east village that had no age minimum (thry didn’t serve liquor). I miss my college days and the next 10 years, where I worked lived and did most activities downtown. Anyone know what year they changed drinking age from 18 to 21?

One of my buddy's from highschool had a December birthday and managed to start buying booze 10 months early. He scratched off the one so if the cashier just checked the date it read as February and the picture matched up.
