Hlo guys Here is my small story. I am a Design Engineer, I joined in HCL with 3.5 LPA as fresher, after 2.5 years I joined in new company with 8.5 LPA. I see people switching to new companies from here earning more than 15 LPA with more than 5 years of experience. So, don't be tesnsed , firstly gain Knowledge and experience, switch companies and demand more salary. It is myth that only IT guys will earn more , we have to create our own road map. I am sure I will comment here again after 2 years or less , with even more salary. So , my suggestion for every fresher is not to worry about salary in your beginning. Once you learn skill, you can attend interviews ,get a job with atleast 30% Hike and show that offer letter to other companies and get even more bigger packages. That's the trick 😀

I m a design engineer, and who thinks that after the designing and learning software we can easily earn a good money 🥲 Bro reality hits hard. I know more then 3 software like solidworks , AutoCAD, CATIA and nx cad, mostly using software is CATIA in the industries i m working last 3 years in the same filled and still struggling to get a good deserving sallery as my ability and skills. Coz when I joined there was a tough competition for the requirements.
Same. Done Auto-cad, Catia, Nx-cad and Hypermesh. My first salary as trainer was 9500 only and after 5 years and switching 3 companies still 28k approx. Only few people got that high salary

Is it good time now to switch my career into cad designing? Reasons for switching my career are 1) I am not getting suitable job with good salary and b) for stable career. Kindly assist me in this. As per my experience, please enhance your skill in your current domain(sales). If you want to switch in CAD designing field at this point than you have to face many issues.

Salaries are very less in mechanical industry , salary range for mechanical design engineer is 15k to 1 lakh per month but mechanical people will always earn less than IT people that's the reality that I am experiencing
Because India isn't Manufacturing hub but IT hub.. India exports the IT related services in all over the world and that's why computer Engineer are earning More in India.. If you want Mechanical engineers to be earn more like Computer Engineers then Leave India and went to Japan, Germany or USA.

This video is really very informative. But as a Design Engineer having more than 5 years of experience, I can say that in India, there is no value of Design Engineer. Companies are not giving good CTC. They don't value design engineer.

Start your job with less salary bro,you gain some of experience and knowledge,after 6 months you go for resignation in your company,if your work is good then company can increase your salary.
This is one of the realities of under employment of engineers where he is not able to put his experience and valuable knowledge into work and get in return salary and growth like a buisness person or bureaucrats
To earn 1 lakh per month in India as a Mechanical Design Engineer, You need: 1. Experience above 10 years (expert level of the most demanding Skillset) 2. A Good MNC company
After 5 years of experience your salary in india will be 6LPA, and after 10yr of experience you can earn 12LPA, i.e., 1L per month. Do your own research. Show me if you can find any job of 12LPA in just 3 yr of experience. I think its rare.. Maybe 2-3.. But majorly package is 6LPA
