It's the fifth wave and its about how an alien spaceship comes and commences waves to destory the human population, 1) emp, 2) tsunamis, 3) disease, 4) infect some humans in the womb years before so when they grow up they are like sleeper agents and these are the real aliens and then the aliens convince the remaining humans that aren't aliens that other humans actually are which is why this scene is fake and there is no parasite. Rather the true alien is the lieutenant woman who is using the kids to kill the remaining humans

Hey guys, not sure who will see this, but lemme let you all in on a little something: There is no parasite in the kids head. The parasites were a trick by this woman and this twist is revealed later in the movie. So all the comments about "There's no way that thing can fit in there" can stop now.
