Control is one I turned on some of the accessibility stuff near the end to make combat less of a chore. Highly recommend that if you dig the vibe but don't mesh with the combat.
I actually did have to black out my window to play this game. I kept wanting to play it in the afternoon (too spooky for night) and the sun shines right through my curtains.
Little Goody Two Shoes also just came out and it's defo gonna be in my top 10. a jrpg-lookin life-sim romance horror game of sorts? it's really really neat, hope more people check it out
Strange to hear you talk about falling off Control and Alan Wake because of the combat when you were enjoying the story and atmosphere so much otherwise, and it's like you don't even consider the idea of playing on Easy / Story mode instead? That's what it's for!
I got into F1 after the first season of Drive to Survive and searched for podcasts about it. Shift F1 was one that showed up and I listened to it without looking up who was on it and it was so weird to recognize Danny instantly as I'd seen and heard him on so much video game content I consumed for years and years before I ever watched F1. Needless to say; the podcast is great and everyone should check it out! Hopefully we'll get some good competitive racing from everyone behind Max Verstappen for the rest of the season and I'm excited to see how the Vegas race goes; especially since there is already a lot of drama behind the scenes ahead of the race.
I try not to talk too much when it's a game I know nothing about! I assume people don't wanna hear me speculating on what Alan Wake 2 might be like when there's two other dudes on the podcast who have played it. Plus it's nice to listen to my buds talk about games they're enjoying.
@@jeremybjayne you're alright dude, i'm sorry, i was joking because you reminded me of Alan there for a couple of minutes :D I do enjoy your commentary.
until it releases on Steam don't care about it, games might as well be unreleased until then. Felt the same way buying Assassin's Creed Mirage full price on Ubisoft Connect, and I'm not getting into this not digging it. Same way with New Settlers. Probably will rebuy them on Steam .. but for real, screw alternative stores.
@@JCB82787 what does mail order or physical copies matter. i don't "need" to play a game first week it comes out i have so much backlog, and i want them all together on steam for achievement trackings after i replaced xbox 360 titles i never got around to for pc.

Thanks to Daniel Puzz and Michael Softman
Okay Kuon looks amazing.

Shouts out Frank going for HIGH FPS over fidelity. Esports gamers celebrate that one
Rustic Charm trophy is bugged for me, only left for my Platinum:( just wanted it as a final pin on why I love this game
Dwarf Fortress Doc plz thanku
Curious what games you guys finished? sounds like you stop at the opening hours for a lot of games.
When you play as many games as they do you gotta be selective with what you commit your time to
Darn it Danny ! I was just about to place my bet on Cyclist.. Then again : Tucker is an r away from trucker sooo.. :p
pizza tower goty
Having to rely to tips simply means bad game design, I also felt lost most of the time and I don’t see how it’s something to simply forgive
games don’t need your forgiveness , you can look past it and see the good and the bad in a game.
Danny your audio is so sharp and hurts my ears
michael puzz is rolling in his grave
Is Jeremy alive?
Yeah he’s talking and everything in this
@@sketchBendik oh thanks

You must still buy your games over mail order out of magazines?
why tho?
