You’re really onto something with these minimalist approaches to guitar. Well done.

Pete Green was very sparing with the notes he played and he was one of the finest blues guitarists in my opinion, just found you and loving your lessons will subscribe.

Your strat sounds great (and of course, is perfectly appropriate for the blues) but I gotta comment that your Tele always sounds like pure magic!
Thanks for the lessons! I enjoy them.

Another great lesson Dave! If you ever want to be good at improvisation, you have to be able to do the simple things well....especially phrasing. What better way than the 3 or 4-note workout! Love it!

Thanks Jay! There is so much good information out there but the message we get a lot is “more is more”. Perhaps more is best when balanced with simplicity. Good to hear from you 😎

Awesome! Goes to show the amount of creative ways you can use 3 notes only! Awesome channel looks like you'll reach 1k soon!

A very understated approach to improvisation. You have to be able to walk very well, before you can run. Love this lesson Dave!

Hi Dave, really like the basic approach you have. On this lesson I wasn't sure how you selected the 3/4 notes, can you maybe give more light on that?

Hey Lean, you’re question actually helped me plan this week’s ‘Just show Me the Licks’ piece! Thanks for that and hope you can check it out and see if I do the question justice. Thanks for that 🙏
