      @@DavidDesimpelaere Interesting how it changes the timbre compared to regular solo tuning (for instance Mikyung Sung). It’s sweeter, fuller in the bass, but maybe a little less intense sounding. (Or maybe that’s just the different interpretations?)

      @@matthewv789 Dear Matthew, thx for your nice comments. The strings I used for this recording are gut core strings. This changes the sound significantly in my view. But of course there are many other factors like interpretation, instrument, bow, etc.
      By making recordings more often lately, I try to be more and more conscious about choosing the ideal material in order to create the sound I have in mind.

      @@DavidDesimpelaere Ah yes those might sound quite different from Spirocores, along with all the other differences of instrument, bow, rosin, microphone placement, etc. I always look forward to your recordings, and your beautiful, characterful interpretations!
