Please help. Amazon can't help me. They cant figure out whats wrong with my Echo Show 5 3rd Gen even they already replaced my unit. Whenever Spotify is playing, the song always freezes on the last 15 seconds before the end. And its painfully slow even on responding. Unlike my Echo Dot, always fast and seamless. I even talked to Amazon rep and we tried everything and still did not solve the issue.
I notice the song playing with the lyrics is not showing the title and artist of the track. Is this configurable?? I really need the artist and title and sometimes the lyrics.
I bought one a month ago and I returned it because it would never update. There was many people who had the issue. Has the issues with not being able to update been solved?
i had the echo dot 4 and it had issues of not hearing me properly, and most of the time saying its not connected to the internet and responded slowly. Will this be much better than that? Looking at getting this or the google nest hub gen 2
This is a nice introductory video, but have you made a more in depth one? One that shows how you can setup a series of relays. I have a houseboat and I am looking to make it all voice control. From simple things like switching on lights to starting the engine! Also, is it possible to change the name from Alexa?
I was gonna buy the echo dot 5 but then i saw the echo dot show 5 3rd gen but idk if the echo show can do everything the echo dot can do. So if the echo show can do everything the echo dot does plus it comes with a screen, i will buy the echo show please tell me if the echo show does everything the dot does.
Ty. Just got it cheap last night wanted to know if it was outdated as my sis has one unsure then saw other generations and I got concerned, but you put my mind to rest. We’re very simple people me and my husband were older. We don’t need a whole lot of stuff and this would be great for his bed stand especially well basically for talking to the alarm clock to set a time, he has lots of appointments. So helpful here

I didn't even know they made a 3rd gen. I just ordered one to replace my gen 2.

Through Bluetooth, so you have to use your phone. You can’t use voice commands unfortunately

Echo show 5 will do everything the echo dot 5 can do. With the screen it's a pretty sweet device:)
