My major learning points from this video:
1. Always look for Checks, captures, threats in the order for every move.
2. Deflecting the defender - the material which hold the position should be deflected by giving away a material.
3. When you are ahead of material, you shouldn’t do something special unnecessarily.
4. Emotions are always enemy of playing logical chess.
5. When there is options for capture, always capture towards the center to strengthen the center. But, also look for free development of the material without having to do anything.
6. Whenever, the king is alone and all the pawns are in the same color as the bishop, the other color squares become very weak. ( Swiss Cheese )
7. Rooks always belong on open files.
8. Prophylaxis - stop opponents threats.

I haven't watched any of these series of improving chess but right now samay is on another level and he is playing with magnus and win COB. 1000 to 1700-1800. What a journey.

1. pinning it to the king
2. agar koi bhi peice king ke saamne pin hogya, toh tum uske saamne nanga naach kar sakte ho
3. miss ko use kar (c5)
4. tempo pe tempo
5. after-castle checkmate pe daath khol do
6. pawn before ghoda, if not then, 3rd file mai pawn chalo (problem is, bishop block ho jayega)
7. tempo se darr ke bhagne se pehle calulate kar
8. always calculate the attack per defense ratio
9. Knight pin toh Bishop badha instead of h3
10. pawn pe attackers badh gaye, then just push it
11. Knight g5 = double attack on pawn
12. PUSH THE CENTRE PAWNS
13. 2-3 move aage ke soch ke chal
14. think mere move pe saamne waala kya chalega?
15. In the Opening, keep pawn moves to a minimum
16. When in doubt, look for :-
1. Checks
2. Captures, and
3. Threats (+creating one)

17. Exchange Queens to prevent both the castles
18. If Opp hasn't castled yet, then daath khol
19. If you're ahead in material, it's better to exchange things

Baaki sb videos dekhne ke baad samay ke channel mei bs chess ki hi videos thi dekhni pdi always thought kya boring bekar game h chess so never tried....got interested in chess cause of samay... ..played around with basic learning listening and watching samay.... loved his chemistry with sagar and 23/04/2024 here i am at 6 am trying to improve chess never thought i would ever try to actually learn and improve chess. All of this is possible because of our beloved blunder master and of course naughty shah (just watched the poonam pandey vs yashraj stream lol)
