i have owned and ridden a c10l 1956 model and found it to be extremely reliable particularly starting either hot or cold it is a couple of prods and away it goes.it produces 8 bhp which any knowledgeable rider knows is more than enough to propel such a lightweight bike even two up. i regularly ride up to the lakes on it even taken it over all the passes including hardnott without any trouble and for a sixty year old sidevalve it isnt all that feeble. i usually use a spoon to pull the skin o f my rice pudding anyway.
