Whats the specific colours names on the Japanese base
I've built some pretty amazing buildings off of people's tutorials, but this one here is by far the easiest to fallow that I've built yet. You explain things very well and don't skip over important stuff, just some others I've watched. I will be checking out the rest of your channel.

Another problem you will run into on official is placing the stone roof pieces. To get them to snap you have to remove the wooden sloped walls and build your roof then go back and add the sloped walls again after the roof is complete.

I have never driven the struggle bus so hard, lol. Trying to get everything to snap where I wanted it to was a nightmare, but it was absolutely worth it! The most beautiful base I've ever built, by a mile! I'm so happy with it, thank you!
Glad you like it and that it all worked out in the end! Getting the right snap point can be a pain sometimes yeah

you can overcome the overlap problem on the entrance and exits (on official) by making triangular foundations and hitting R to make them quarter foundations and extending the front and back a quarter. of course you have to extend the walls out a quarter as well but it works.
Looks amazing going to try and build a replica of this tomorrow with the boys

@@Etholdirjust so people know you can’t build the top layer for flyers on servers cuz stone foundation limit is 8 high

what did you use for paint on the roof and walls?

I wish I read the comments before building this. Just snapped the first sloped roof and now the rest will not snap

For official you need a few additions especially the roof parts that overlap
On official you can’t build thruw each other so looks cool but a lot of things you can’t
Did this on pve but it really sucks nothing work
Official settings? Then yes for any overlapping you need a setting turned on for collisions to make it work, which unfortunately they don't allow on official servers.
Hey i just copied this design on the outside at our waterbase location 96.0 22.9 on ASA Official EU5061 PVE sw corner of map. i built the cliffside village there also. But i had to use a full overlap on the wall the 8x way & half overlap on the wall the 11x way. My top part has a clean look. But my corners cant overlap each other so im using the corners to go down between the ramp roof piesin the corners. Its not complete just yet, but hopefully today or tomorrow. Come by & check it out. Maybe do a walk through on the cliffside village & Hilltop Villa, The Chateau & The Pointed Shack above the Cliffside village. Lol. Tribe name is Jesus Built My Hotrod. Human (me) built this area aside from the platform & water cages. @RedDirtRay

I turned on clipping (I believe and still cannot get the stone roofs to clip
That's weird it should work when collisions are allowed

Any tips? I finally managed to snap the first sloped roof and now none of the rest will snap 🥲
@@xMissAurax Sometimes it's just a bunch of scrolling between all the different snapping options
