@@BartlomiejDmowski I don't know how you can see West Germany as inspiring. It was just another puppet state. Personally, I find East Germany more German. They were more patriotic and the NVA played music like Preußens Gloria. Meanwhile, West Germans cut their wrists in front of Americans and drank their sorrows away in front of a corner store because they were so ashamed of being German.
If you flew a German flag nationalistically in West Germany, you'd be screamed at and called „nazi! nazi!" while someone calls the police. Then ANTIFA would run up to you and yell „FASH THE BASH MASH THE FASH BASH FASH1!"
If you did that in East Germany, you'd be called a true comrade of the national spirit of socialist reality and a foreman to the Soviet front. East Germany even had a song by Oktoberklub called „Lied vom Vaterland". This was an original, I'm not talking about the choir version based on „Wide is my Motherland". I'm talking about the one sang with a guitar by Oktoberklub. If you had so much even UTTERED „Vaterland" in West Germany, you'd be assaulted, called „nazi" and would lose your job and partner. Also, most Soviets liked the German music, art and culture - ideology aside. Plus, East Germany had plenty of Brutalism. Growing up there, you would see those certain stoves. If you were a Slav, you also can't deny the RAVE. So East Germany > West Germany.
You know what Germany is best though? A unified Greater Germany. Just my thoughts though.

West Germany was like a free state, East Germany was a dictatorship. I like the West German modernity, modern architecture. It's clean and has very positive vibes. Now please, don't try to brainwash me with this anti-German propaganda. Many of the former Nazis became Chancellors or Presidents and the world was apparently fine with that, as they were minor in the Party and they were actually great leaders. And Wehrmacht generals found jobs in Bundeswehr. Former SS members received pensions better than Polish generals fighting on the West, as they were denounced stateless and the Western powers forgotten about them. You call West Germany a puppet - well, in a way, it was. It was literally the NATO's vanguard of the east, it was necessary to keep troops there. East Germany was totally a puppet, which had to follow orders from Moscow. Although... it seems that unlike Poles, who tried reforms, SED knew exactly what Moscow wanted. West Germany also had a lot of military marches, some perhaps designed already in that era. Why did people want to escape from East to the West, not the other way around?

West Germany wasn't a worthy continuation of German Empire, it was someway different than Weimar Republic. It indeed hailed to its liberal values - you could have been there whoever you wanted. A monarchist - fine, as long as you don't hail extremist values, many monarchists did! Hohenzollerns and other former dynasties are totally allowed in today's Germany. Today, German army still uses old military marches. And finally, West Germany was so prosperous. If you like being a soldier, fighting with your friends, playing some games in the forests, shooting with rifles and tanks, listening to orders - yes, probably East Germany would be for you
But if you want to just live happily, peacefully, with your family and friends, if you want to become a rich man of success with a beautiful house - West Germany is the right country. Take Wansee as an example - it's a gorgeous place. And you know why was all that? Because of old differences between the German states. Rhineland and Hanover for instance were never different than they are now.
Now, I know that German past is too demonized today. But for real, it's not a dictatorship and you won't go to prison if you are a proud German. This is a myth

I'm German myself. Why the hell would I spew "anti-German propaganda". That makes zero sense. I have no clue how you got that from any of my arguments. If anything, YOU would be anti-German because you're Polish and therefore Prussophobic. Do you have any sources on your claims that you made? The German government provided the SS no sanctions at all. The only ones that got sanctions were the Wehrmacht. The Polish veterans likely didn't get higher sanctions because it is Poland - therefore Eastern European and, at the time, communist.

Both were puppets. West Germany followed orders directly from Washington. They legitimately had part of their constitution reformed with Americans. It was a western puppet state. It's still in the constitution. You're beating around the bush. I won't get into Polish politics. West Germany would be a disgrace to the German Empire. They even stabbed Prussians of all generations, like my family, in the back. People left East Germany as traitors to the east, some probably because of western propaganda.

The Bundeswehr is a joke. Completely underfunded and has one hardly working submarine. Poland could invade Germany and win within 24 hours.

I don't care for hedonistic mentality. I am lower class. I believe in the working class and frugalism. I save my money. I don't want to be rich. I can buy beautiful house anywhere. But to be clear, Germany is a social state today and it is not uncommon for many Germans to live in die in their homes or rent a place. Personally, I think public housing is the next step. East Germany did a great job with that.

From WC USA, I was there 1961-64, serving on a German Radar Site from February 1962 to July 1964! I couldn’t have served with a Beter bunch of Comrades! I was able to go home with 2 of them(2trips) and I couldn’t have been treated better by anyone! Their parents treated me just like any German Comrade they would have brought home for the weekend and these people forgave my terrible German! I would go back there and serve with these German Military any time! At times I feel I should have stayed in Bavaria asI married a German girl and her family treated me like one of them and even came to the USA many times to visit us!
I'm younger (25) but 13 years ago I went on a school trip in Germany. Despite the common history between our countries, my stay was great and the parents were very nice with me.

It allways was a conscript army its just deactivated rn it can be reactivted any time
Its a division again. The "Division Schnelle Kräfte" concentrates paratroopers and light infantry elements. The Marder and Puma used by the armored grenadiers are also air-portable with 4 A400s required to carry 3 vehicles plus add-on armour. Though they are generally moved by rail and then drive to their assembly area. The idea is to have troops to hold the NATO front in Europe till the bulk of combat power concentrated in the tank and armored grenadier formations can arrive and assemble.
