Thank you so much to those who have been rocking with me and subbing, hitting the like button, and share my videos. I thank you for your continued support. I really hope this video does well because this is not a sponsored review and I can say I'm excited to give a viable alternative to a fixed blade shave if you suffer from razor bumps or sensitive skin this might be a game-changer for you.
After days of searching info about Oneblade and hundred of videos, i found your post witch summarized all i learned those days. For this, respect and subscribed .
Thank you so much for teaching me how to use a normal comb to trim a stubble I'm New to the stubble world after being clean shaven for so long and also using the Phillips one blade which is a excellent device.
cool review Bro.. i already have one of these. i had the Braun X series shaver first, and last year i checked to compare it with the Philips.. i didn't get the Philips until i had a missing bag problem happen in an airport outside the country and could not find the Braun anymore.. ok, so i bought the Philips and immediately thought (although for me the Braun looks better - Being all black) The Philips cuts closer. & i like how the blade just slips in there AND STAYS ON (the Braun blade tended to pop off some times.. Yeah it was annoying). Then mine came with a different adjustable attachment that basically does what yours does, but my attached is smaller and more compact.. & i have to say I LOVE IT.. its the first attachment that really works in trimming my mustache down to where i like it.. So i'm glad that i got this.. But beware the blades are expensive.. Last thing.. What is really cool about this Philips (unlike what i experienced with the Braun).. is the top and bottom blades give you a nice consistent cut in both directions with the top and bottom blade (pulling backwards for the bottom, or pushing up using the top). i also like that no matter which blade you buy of the different versions Philips has, all the blades work in all of their OneBlade shavers.. Peace
This is excellent feedback my man I'm glad to hear somebody's detailed experience with this thing. Sucks that you lost your bag I know how traveling without your luggage can be. Everything happens for a reason though if this led you to the Oneblade I tend to agree with pretty much everything you said there I don't have any experience with the Braun X Series yet but yeah I do find The Replacements a little pricey but this is legitimately the only thing that I found that is a legitimate alternative to a fixed blade shave
@@CuttingUp Yeah, i had a test of patience with the travel bag. i came out the airport, passed the handle to a lady i was getting to know, and instead of keeping her hands on it, she let one of those overzealous bag handlers trying to get a tip for doing nothing, take it from her.. he puts it somewhere, next thing it's gone.. it just makes me less trusting then ever before.. i lost a few things.. some electronic stuff, clothes, had to be without underwear for a minute.. That Braun Shaver was just a few weeks new and hard to find (i had to wait until i came to New York to get replacement blades for it.. and now i have blades and no shaver Lol). So, the Philips was sitting there saying "now you can try me out".. and i come to like it better. So yeah, something good came out of all of that..
haha funny how he mentions that it’s great for whiskers, I actually bought one before seeing this review. and tried it out, and it’s really great ! I was tired of getting scraped and cut with the typical multiple blade razors and shaving cream.
Good question, so it's kind of a hybrid that leans towards being a low profile trimmer but in my opinion it is an alternative to a fixed blade or razor blade shave
Lol ask as many questions as you want. If I can give an answer that you find helpful I'm more than happy to do that. In my opinion it is a closer shave or cut rather than a trimmer. if you have a trimmer already this is a good addition. In my opinion this is a good alternative to someone who can't use a fixed blade razor it's not as smooth as a razor but it's close enough to be a good alternative or substitute
@antizzy it would, it's why I see it as an alternative to a fix blade, it's not going to be as smooth a shave as a fixed blade shave, but it will basically give you the appearance of a shave aesthetically while helping to prevent razor bumps
This is a good question so I'm actually using a shea moisture coconut conditioner right now but I know shea moisture doesn't necessarily work with everybody there's also a shea moisture men line I have that a use from time to time
@@CuttingUp gotcha! I really like to try the idea of using conditioner as I learn to use the blade. Appreciate your channel and as fellow yard mon to another 🇯🇲 ✊🏾
Would you recomend this or the bodygroomer 7000 25/15? I am about 20 and i like a little beard and moustache but clean shave everywhere else. Ive never really cared but i wanna now and want to now what to use. Thanks
What's up, thanks for the comment especially with such a good question, so full disclosure I haven't reviewed the 7000. I can definitely try to get my hands on this one for a review but I can tell you The Edge is probably going to go to this (One Blade Pro) because I haven't been overly impressed with the 4 directional pivot head on other Phillips norelco's especially if you're trying to achieve a clean zero on the body hair
Thanks for the super quick response and ins detail review. I had the one blade pro berfore but i lost it so i was looking for a new one. will buy the one blade pro 360. keep up the good work man!@@CuttingUp
What's the difference between Panasonic Arc v snd this Philips. I heard that both of them are good for sensitive skin but I don't know if Panasonic is worth buying because it's expensive.
The Panasonic Arc is going to have to be something I get my hands on to try out I don't have any experience with it so I wouldn't be the right person to give you for the context on a comparison
I have the original one blade I just bought this and the old charger did not charge mine at all. I plugged in the new one and it started charging fyi well for me.
@@CuttingUp and great review btw the only thing that bothered me on the old one I like to use a 2 guard for the 5 o’clock shadow look and I used 2 on the 360 it was so close basically clean shaven now 😂
I think you can but they make one called OneBlade Face & Body with a different guard system that might be better suited. I want to do a review of that one soon...
If it's that infrequent the OneBlade would be good for you because it's not something that needs alot of muscle memory and you'll get alot of life out of the blade
It’s not true that they always use the same charger I got 2 one blade with 2 differed chargers 1 will work on both the other 1 will only work on 1 does not fit in the other one blade
Really I've never seen that especially from Phillips Norelco. Really appreciate that feedback. Which two models of the one blade do you have? Even weirder that one uses both charges and one only uses the proprietary one. Yeah if you could let me know which two models you have so I can look that up
That's cool they use the same charger so your old one will work. But on the other hand I'm going on my 3rd proprietary one blade charger so it's not verry cool anymore when you loose it. Admittedly I'm pretty bad about misplacing things I don't use everyday so no fault to phillips there but why not the best of both and switch to type c like the rest of the planet ill be 1st in line to upgrade knowing I can charge it with all my other cables #usbc to the bathroom please 🙏
I'm definitely down with the idea of switching to a USB type-c I've praised other devices on this channel for having that charger and if they were going to switch their charging port to that I would have absolutely no complaints
I don't want to steer you the wrong way so I guess I would need to know what you mean by a shaver but if I have I'm thinking about the right thing check out my review for the Sejoy 5-1 usually the attachments for those things are gimmicky but I found those to be pretty solid on that particular model
😂 kind of difficult to not talk about the product in a review video, but fair enough I'll take the criticism into consideration for future videos. Ironically you gave up right before I started using it LOL appreciate the feedback though
I'm not using it everyday because as you can imagine I have a lot of different shaving options but it is one of my favorites so I do use it frequently and I haven't replaced the blades yet
😂🤣 you kind of have to talk in a review video but I appreciate you giving me a chance though. If you just want to see it in action just check out one of Philip norelco's videos where they just show the device they're still talking in it but you can mute it. 🤔 but you know what I do appreciate this comment more than you think cuz you just gave me a good idea... stay tuned

Appreciate that I really try to make them thorough
Don't worry too much about the proprietary blade. Personally, each one lasts me well over 7-8 months before I even consider replacing it.
Can't tell you how relieved I am to hear that
I'm not gonna lie bro, this is the best review on TH-cam of this product I'm considering.
Really appreciate that fam

Hows it work in the shower? Mine has some kind of cutout but it says can be used wet

So is this equivalent to a clipper blade or a razor blade?
Good question, so it's kind of a hybrid that leans towards being a low profile trimmer but in my opinion it is an alternative to a fixed blade or razor blade shave
@@CuttingUpfinal question is it a closer shave then using clippers because that’s what I’ve been using clippers and close shavers ?

You right, I've been looking for a blk man's review of this, especially on the head.
Razor bumps his differently on our skin lol.
I have one question: I just bought Oneblade Pro 360 and when i shake it i can feel a rattle inside. Is it normal? Thank you!
Uhmm no I would definitely exchange it for a other one. That's doesn't sound normal
@@CuttingUpThank you!
Using it for trimming and ocasional shaving, the blade last more than 6 months.
Good to hear.. I know a couple of our ppl wanted to know this
I plan to use it as my daily shaver. You think it will last that long? And how you know it's end of life already?
@@hootaragis8971 It depends on how closed your beard is. I’ve been using it since 2018 ( original blades ) the 360 less than a year.

@rogerbrinkley5504 facts I feel like the 2 is lower than what I'm used to other trimmers referring to as a 2mm
Appreciate the review
Would this stop razor bumps? l bumped up from using a straight razor. Real sensatuve skin
Definitely will help prevent getting razor bumps in comparison to a fix blade
Thanks for the review!
Do you think it can be used to body shave?
I think you can but they make one called OneBlade Face & Body with a different guard system that might be better suited. I want to do a review of that one soon...
For body shave I just use the shaver without the guards, I have the face and body and the guards are absolutely useless imo
