I remember the waterfall that pored out when she sang this - and also again at the end of the tour at Russian River Blues Festival - It was so emotional to be at the beginning and the end of the tour this year. Sheila E id the true legend she is still functioning as a superstar during her period of mourning her love of her life.
This was my 41st birthday. We lost a magical soul. Sheila lost one of her oldest and dearest friends. I mourn for him everyday, but never truly knew him. He touched so many lives with his amazing gift of music. However, the ones closest to him have very deep pain to deal with since his untimely passing. My heart breaks for you all. Thank you for sharing so much of your soul with his "family". Much love and God bless you!!
thank you for sharing.. I took my 14 year old daughter with me to see her performance. The love from the coward was awesome i feel honored and proud to see her perform up close. Reminded me when I saw Prince in Feb 28, 16 in Oakland at the Paramount theater I felt as he and I where the only ones in the room. I will for ever treasure this memory.
