Thermal vision of fiber laser make NO sense creating THERMODYNAMIC PARADOX....

I though I have some good sense of thermodynamic properties, but thermal (FLIR) footage of fiber laser put my understanding of basic laws of physics under the test! How second pass of laser can be seen by FLIR as COOLING pass???? What am I missing??? Ideas?

Interesting Obervation! I think you Remove with the Cleaning Pass the Ash Particles from the Engraving Pass. Perhaps they worked as a kind of Heat Insulation for the Heat energie stored in the main Part. An dif you remove the Insulation, the Part can quickli cool down?
