Rick offers $10
Seller says no
Rick: man I’m taking a huge risk here
Minorhawk27 your funny you must be the first to come up with this
Funny, New, Original.
Squrt Well Rick says it multiple times so you gonna see it multiple times in the comment section.
....$15 not a penny more
Mortally Challenged 20 and you got a deal.
Everyone jokes about Rick being cheap but his offer of 110k for that coin was more than fair.
That was ok but sometimes he really lowballs people
Like that is one of the first times he actually gave a reasonable price
Eh I would’ve said 125k
Lowball or not, the person selling has the choice to take the offer. So then it's now on them to live with that decision.
@@Anthh07 So you would have paid exactly what it was valued at, knowing it would need work for an auction? That would be a net loss, my friend.
This is the Holy Grail, the actual, real life Holy Grail.
Rick: Best I can do is $25.00
@Elsa Debroglie Well..I mean this is gonna sit around in my shop and these things don't really have a market, and I'll also have to put it up for display till the right buyer finds it. 25$ is the best I can do.
These aren’t funny
I gotta get framed gonna sit the shop for a while best is 24.50

Rick: the first rule of negotiating is learn to walk away if the price isn’t right
There's actually a really good movie with a plot just like this. I forget the name.

And Rick will buy a piece of colored wood known as the Everlasting Gobstopper for $115,000. Go figure.
He got a Wonka Bar too. . . Also made of wood.
Well there's a difference between buying something that you saw when you were a child and fell in love with, than buying something that you're just in it for the money
-Tcáf- Exactly, as they’re collectors items from peoples childhood. Rick would have made a lot of money rather selling them as a whole set or even individually.
Sorry but this comment is pointless... he doesn’t just arbitrarily choose what he pays big bucks for, it’s obviously based on what he can expect others to pay later on... I’m sure you understand that so I just don’t get the point of this comment. Anyways have a good day
Rick likes dat wood😃
"I have the plate that Jesus used in the last supper"
I'll give you $12 for that. And thats my last offer
I think there was an episode where a guy was trying to sell Rick an ancient silver coin that he claimed was one of the coins Judas sold out Jesus for.

Is anybody going to adress that rich guy who owns George Washington’s 3 piece suit

Deal, but for what?
Brandon Wert taking a huge risk here
All of these would honestly be better suited in a museum
Take a photo it lasts longer.
Seller:This is the Mona Lisa
Rick: Best I can do is a ball of yarn and a tape ball and I’m gonna have to ship it off and frame it so I’m really taking a risk
110,000 was acually a fair deal. Never seen Rick make a offer that close to a selling price
lucifer morningstar but they probably said that it would sell for more if it was refurbished
That guy didn't want to sell it
He said he would lose money selling it at thay price rick was offering
The coin itself takes up less storage in the pawn shop, It will not cost to much to get it garden and encapsulated and there is a high market for ancient Roman coins especially of that condition and popularity. He is making a very fast 10-15K. That is my reasoning, feel free to reply.
Here I have a piece of Hitler’s suit.

Rick you didn't use the excuse you know this is gonna sit around in my shop and it's gonna take me a long time to sell and find the right buyer. Your asking 1.5 mil . I'll give you 500 grand
Ikr. It looked like that was a car shop though. There’s no way a shop is gonna go from 1.5 to half a million

Rick: what do you want for it

Rick: The best I can do is a nickel and a broken ipad
$110,000 was more than a fair offer for a coin valued at $125,000. If the coin is sold at an auction, wouldn't an auction house take a commission anyway? And if the seller wanted the full value of the coin, then why try and have a third party sell it? As for Washington's suit, that's something that should be sold at auction. What kind of moron would take it to a pawn shop, unless he's really, really desperate for cash?
The High Llama the show is fake
Free publicity for potential buyers bypassing auction commissions! They had no intention of selling to a pawn shop.
@@bingchillin3628
The fighting and drama to an extent is fake, but the customers are not.
Besides, taking it to a pawn shop would mean that he could at least negotiate for the price. But in an Auction, its all about the bids. You could place an item worth $5000 and the best bid would be for $200 or something. People usually meme Rick saying "It's a risk" but it actually is. Depends if there's anyone actually interested in it + Auction House will take a chunk of the sale as commission
@@SirStrikeFreedom You can actually set a minimum selling price when selling something at an action eh :) For example if you have a piece worth $5k the starting price would be like $2.5k. There is a risk but not of the magnitude you just said.
