I don’t think I have ever related to a video more. I’m only half way through and my heart is breaking for you, I understand completely the enormous amount of love you have for your son and yet feeling completely touched out at the end of the day and just needing quiet time alone. We’re also alike in that I don’t pay for my hair and nails or go out to do things for myself. I do my hair at home and my nails look absolutely horrible 😂 I wish I had advice for bedtime for you, but I’m in a similar boat. My daughter stopped sleeping in her crib and now she won’t leave my bed.
I admire you greatly and I thought the evolution of the cup cozy, and how you perfected the pattern was really interesting. I wish you all the best ❤️

Thank you so much for writing to me and letting me know I’m not alone. It’s crazy how children are the best thing to ever happen to you and also the hardest. I’m thankful I’ve gotten some good advice about bedtime on here from viewers that I hope will help ☺️ It’s a big adjustment for all moms I’m sure. Also thank you for the compliments. I love making the cup cozys and really hope they sell well.

I don't understand why you have so small a following. You are so sweet and genuine. I love your podcasts and appreciate your honesty. With regard to your little toddler not wanting to go to bed, I bought mine a clock and set a few rules, such as this time is play time with Mum, this time is quiet time with Mum, this time is play time by yourself and most importantly this time is bedtime. Good Luck. He will soon be more independent. xx

Thank you very much ☺️ A clock is a great idea. I think he would like that. I’m glad I talked about it. I’m getting lots of good advice.

I bought a Fisher Price tape player and he was allowed to listen to kids music and stories in bed. He wasn’t allowed to get up but could listen for as long as he liked. Not sure what equivalent they have now 😂. Things will get better, he is at that age where they are active, expect non-stop attention but things will get easier. I like your fabrics, very pretty.

I see some great advice. adding my 2cents in. lol. i raised 3 children. oldest is 40years old. I always tried a consistent routine for bedtime. when i had to change to a bed i got a small guard railing for part of the sides. suggest you leave the door open. he feels like he is missing something. get a dog gate for bedroom door. I had to lay down with them until they got older. Go ahead and enjoy lying down, soothing your little ones. They grow up so fast. Really! I know you want you own life right now. It;s a balancing act. good luck. he is adorable. and i promise it gets easier! I owned a craft store when they were 10, 13years old.

We did try the side rails but he just climbed over them and yes most nights I do lay with him until he falls asleep but that’s usually at 10pm lol. The dog gate is a great idea! I will definitely try this. Thank you so much for your advice :)

@@SandyYurkinsPowers Thank you! That means a lot. I was talking to my mom and telling her I can’t believe she was able to raise three kids and babysit 8 other children at the same time. Crazy! Women are strong and adapt though.

Having a bedtime routine will help. Be consistent. Give your son a routine during the day too...including quiet/down time. Be persistent and insistent.

A lot of the problem is his age. They stay under your feathers or really close around you till about 3 when they are the only child.Try a high chair while you work for short amounts of time. My children loved pots and pans, spoons and plastic cups. They mimic you as they learn. Hang in there he will become more independent as he grows. My son was the same way.Great vlogs I am a new subbie with 3 grown kids and a granddaughter 13. I sew ,crochet and was a stay at home mom with my last two and worked opposite shifts with my first. Thank you. That’s a great idea. I will try a high chair because when I sit him at the table with a regular chair he grabs all my stuff. Thank you so much for watching. I love doing my crafts. Maybe he will want to crochet when he’s older!

Yes that’s a great idea! I wanted to do TikTok Live. It’s like a live market. But I need more followers.
