Anatomy of Celiac trunk / Celiac artery - Origin, Course, Branches, Vascular supply
    artery
    ---------------------
Celiac artery, also known as the celiac axis or celiac trunk, is a major visceral artery in the abdominal cavity supplying the foregut, arising from the abdominal aorta and commonly giving origin to three major arteries: left gastric artery, splenic artery, and common hepatic artery.
    Gross anatomy
    -------------------------
    Origin
Arises anteriorly from the abdominal aorta at the Upper border of the L1 vertebral level.
    Course
It is typically a short vessel that passes underneath the median arcuate ligament, often indented on its superior surface by this ligament, and then courses anteriorly or slightly anterolaterally in the lesser sac. It is surrounded by coeliac lymph nodes and the coeliac plexus. At the upper border of the pancreas, it divides into three branches: left gastric artery, splenic artery and common hepatic artery.
The left gastric artery is usually the first branch, after which the coeliac artery bifurcates into the splenic artery (coursing to the left) and the common hepatic artery (coursing to the right).
    Branches
    ---------------
    left gastric artery
    splenic artery
    common hepatic artery
    Supply
    ----------
The coeliac artery is the artery to the foregut, supplying:
gut from the distal oesophagus to the ampullary region of 2nd part of the duodenum
    liver
    gallbladder
    spleen
    pancreas

Dr.G.Bhanu Prakash, would you be able to make a video on the Inferior vena cava? Your video on the abdominal aorta was very helpful. It would be awesome to see a lecture video on IVS just the way you organized it for the abdominal arteries. Thank you

Every organ should have a cavernosum that fills with serem particularly rbc's that expands in tandem as a mechanism,? Consider a blanket of capillaries(vessels) over a capillary bed or a barrier( or the substance between 2 barriers), possible 3 barriers (membranes) make a 4th lumen, possible rbc's expand and contract (erect) as a mechanism when filling the corpus cavernosum restricting rbc's to the cavernosum this mechanism could be in the cavernosum of the brain. What happens to the serem (specifically rbc's) after the corpus cavernosum empties and shrinks, expanding and contracting is a mechanism in all systems of the body or mechanized mitosis
