Hi sir, this video is very helpful! However for question 1, wouldnt A also be crossed out since its also a metal (referred to as 'alkali metals) and then wouldnt D also be crossed out since its a solid and all the elements in the right side of the table are mostly gases? For example: oxygen, carbon, nitrogen?
Hi, could you maybe do a video explaining the topic of 'making salts'? I have my first year 10 mock on Wednesday and its a chem paper so it would be really helpful.
For question 1.7, I made a bit of a typo, Mg loses electrons and oxygen gains the electrons. The rest of the answer is fine though!
This was so helpful thanks 🙏
thank you!
TYSM THIS WAS SO HELPFUL!!
Thank you!
Hello this is really helpful please can you do edexcel ones asw?
I'll add it to the list
Hi Mr Dye - I cannot find the paper on the AQA website to print off and mark through with you? Do you have a link for this past paper please? Thanks.
find it on physics and maths tutor

thx sm
Ia it just me that actualky found this papaer doable and easy ?😅
thank youu
You're welcome!
there is a mistake in your answer in question 1.7. Magnesium loses electrons hence becomes positive, Oxygen gains electrons hence becomes negative.
Ah damn you're right, I'll add a note
I got only 42 on this test when I did it in my mock
It's a very difficult test to be fair, lots of little things to remember
nooooooooooooooooooooooooo its not combined science
