I didn’t know anything about art until I joined your Art class online Louise, thanks so much for sharing ❤ I enjoy watching this and I’ve learned more .
I love how you've evolved this piece Louise. As always great information! You've inspired me to rework a canvas that I did in watercolour and I've enjoyed hanging in the house for 12 months - I think it's time for a change.......and this might now become an acrylic abstract! Thanks again for your generous videos! Best wishes Robyn
Thank you Louise. I'm at that point your talking about. I seem to make the same kinds of marks, brushstrokes and even go for the same colors. You just reminded me that I own 3 different catalyst wedges that I never use. I have everything that all the artists have, but I haven't tried new things. You just inspired me to try different things. Thank you.
I love the speeded up videos we can see how your artists eye is working. I haven't tried this yet but I will. It seems important to keep to colours that are close on the colour wheel.. I did feel sad when the orange went though...
WOW! Louise this video really lit me up. I'm so stuck right now & watching you paint like this helped nudge me in the right direction. I love this painting BTW . Your instruction is powerful & so helpful .Thank you !!
Thank You Thank You Louise for sharing this!! Ever since I bought your book I have really longed to see you working on a painting with so many layers and gorgeous hues like you make! This was so helpful! I’ve never thought about laying paint on gentle with paper. That one idea really interests me! I Love Your Work and the Wisdom you so generously impart! May you continue to grow and change and enjoy the process!! ❤❤❤ Have a Lovely Day! Jalyne in Utah USA
It is always fun to watch. I've just completed cvp23 and I attribute a good part of my progress first to you. I enjoyed your free class after Nick's free class. Now I need to digest all of it. Thank you for your TH-cam and podcasts.
I’d love to know what you made of CVP. I’ve taken all of Nick’s free classes and watched his uTube videos. I came close to enrolling this year but decided not to because of the cost, plus the fact that I’d also absorbed a lot of his ideas already. So any thoughts would be much appreciated!
Love this! Wet on Wet Masterclass in the works? Does the flow extender increase drying time? Are you spraying to keep paint wet or to make the delicious drips? Look forward to the weekly TH-cams! Thanks!
Hi Julie, sometimes I spray, sometimes I just load a wet brush and let the water run through the paint. Not sure about the flow improver - I didn't really use it much. This is mainly water x
Looks like you are working on a piece of unstretched canvas? Is that what you typically do? Do you like to work on old painting that you don't like anymore? I have lots of those :)
I'm always finding faces in my own art. Since I don't "do" faces, it's entirely distracting....A few times there's been so many at once that I just go with it, it's today's "intuition", I guess.

This was so helpful, Louise. You are so right "stop while it still looks fresh". This painting is just right - reminds me of hydrangeas.

Hi Louise. Thank you for this video! Have you used your flow improver? And if yes, how did you use it please? Thanks
Not really - I mainly just use water x

To be fair I work on all types of canvas, paper, wood. I'm not afraid to try different things. ♥

Anyone else see the face at 4:51? And at a10:27?
The dude blowing smoke? Yup😂
I don't see it but that's one of the best things about art! It's totally up to interpretation.
