When I first Heard Moneybags song I need a Plug wit Dolph I knew he was gonna make it. Kinda surprised me when he signed to Gotti for Only 200k but it all worked out for him. Shit would've been tough if he signed to Dolph. Dolph, Key Glock and Bag together would've been to hard and P.R.E would've been as big as No Limit, Cash Money and QC. Not saying Dolphs P.R.E Label isn't tough but signing Bag would've brought Alot more Spotlight on P.R.E and no telling who else would be on the Roster by now. For Example..if a Artist signed to a Major Record Label sold a Million Albums it's First Week and Dolph only sold 100k in First week Dolph would've made more Money than the nigga who's signed cause he wouldn't have to break Nobody off. If the Album was 20$ he would get about at least 15$ on each Album Sold where as the Nigga who sold a Million would only get like 3$ maybe less on Each Album they sold cause the Record Label gonna get they Cut, The Publisher, The Distribution Company all kinds of shit...all Dolph had to do was give Empire(a distribution Company he was Partners with) their Lil Bread. Everybody thinks Empire is a Record Label but it's a Distribution Company for Independent Artist. Mo3 was also Independent and used Empire for his Distribution. Independent is a slower Process and alot more harder to make it but Dolph made that shit look Easy. Every up and coming Rapper wanna sign a Record Deal so bad but if they just follow Dolphs blueprint they would be better off in the long run and own all they Masters and publishing. I never understood how a Record Label could own your Music and Publishing... that's pretty much signing your Life away. Only good Record Label Rappers we're Chief Keef cause they gave him 6Million guaranteed off the Rip and Young Thug signing to 300 but he made a deal to where he would own a Percentage of the Record Label he was signed to and could Freely have his own Label YSL. It's all about if you a Shark or a Small Fish cause them Record Labels only want you to make them Money...they don't give a fuck about you your Momma or even Remember your First Name lol
