    My grandmother is the survivor of a serial killer. Phillip Carl Jablonski was his name. She testified against him to put him away. We live in Indianapolis AND Herb used to request to sit in her section at Denny’s in the 90’s. She was on Jerry Springer back in the day. 😅

    My nana survived the Connecticut River Valley killer, or so she claims. She says he tried to give her a ride on her way back home from work. But her boss was also there and they both got an extremely bad vibe from the man. Her boss offered her a ride and she took it. Later she saw him through her upstairs window, as he threw rocks at it. He ducked off before police arrived. So happy she’s still here with us.

      I watched a 20/20 documentary a while ago about a daughter of a serial killer that they interviewed, and she didn't really talk too much about it. She doesn't want to be remembered as the daughter of a serial killer. She wants to be remembered for things that she did, not her parent.

    The amount of times my mother would send me to the grocery store by myself as a child…. The first time I can remember I was probably only about 6 or 7. She also never sent me with enough money for the things she’d ask for and I’d always end up short at the register. I remember this really sweet little old lady once that walked me home one day after paying for our groceries and she screamed at my mother for sending me out alone. I genuinely wasn’t close to the nearest toilets and been trying to do the potty dance as quickly as possible to make it lol. Anyway a man in his early 30s had been walking behind me and had quickly passed me once I relieved myself behind a brick wall. Didn’t think too much of it at the time until a week later the local news reported the arrest of this man for two SAs in the area. I saw a self defense tip that you should carry a long lanyard with heavy things on the bottom because it makes a really good improvisational weapon. If you’re walking alone, just have it out and maybe swing it idly, because a lot of abductors and/or grapists will target victims who look unthreatening, and swinging a potential weapon might make you look like too much of a bother. Stay safe guys

    Donkeys/Asses are mated with horses to produce mules.

I hated feeling like I couldn't be fully independent and go places by myself because of the fear she instilled me. I hated having to be afraid... but at least I was safe. I don't want my baby girl to have to grow up afraid to be alone, but maybe that's the only way to really be safe.

    I'm convinced there's a Bad Penmanship course in medical school. I grew up with a guy that had decent handwriting until he became an MD.
    I take great pleasure in making fun of him for it.

      I got into a car accident in 2019 with a drunk driver, It caused my neck to have 3 herniated discs and nerve damage all down the right side of my body. Ive had 2 neck surgeries to correct it and I don’t have feeling in my right arm. I’m right handed. I avoid writing anything by hand at all costs, it’s absolutely horrendous to read and I’ve had people ask me if I’m a doctor. 😂😂

      @jennifermichelleswanson3797 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +11

      I don't think the doctors think about it. They know what they wrote down. Not to mention a doctor has to write everything he/she says down so many times that I think they just use a lot of shorthand. I'm not making excuses for them, but that's what I think.

      It's also the speed they are writing I think - they are seeing so many people so quickly and only have moments to write their notes

      I heard from some lecturers at university that medical professionals are taught to write like that because it makes it more distinct and harder to forge for prescriptions and whatnot

    To translate the doctor handwriting for the tattoo man, only 2 words are a bit iffy but the rest I can interpret. "Head severed at axis, clean & sharp. Multiple cuts made in apparently(?) tentative(?) manner. Body found about 150 ft from head." And the rest is just description of the guy and where he was found

    My first husband and I moved to Indianapolis after we married in November 1992. He was hired for a second job in spring 1993 at one of Herbert Baumeister's Save-A-Lot stores. I met him when I visited the store to pick up my husband, and he gave me the heeby jeebies. He looked weird at my then husband every so often and hovered nearby, just creepy. We were stunned when we saw on the news one night that he was a suspect in these murders, even so, and could not believe how things progressed from there. Serial killers live their lives right among us, and most of us never even know that that "quiet guy" living next door is a monster in human form.

    The ABC Killer really reminded me of a book by Agatha Christie called "The ABC Murders". It`s also about a guy that kills people with the same initials that live in towns that start with the same letter. He starts with A, then B, then C and so on. While I was watching I was wondering if the killer maybe took inspiration from that book. Anyways, great video. I love watching your truecrimes.

    Rochester can be a bit of a murdery city. My mom has come into contact with five serial killers in her life. Wanda's murder occurred on our walking rout to school and Ken Bianchi used to live in the same apartment building as my parents. Arthur Shawcross was also active in Rochester. I also suggest you research Mark John Christie.
