@8:36 Probability of rolling any number one through six on a perfect die is 1/6. The probability of rolling the same number on two dice is 1/6 times 1/6. The probability of rolling the same number on all dice is 1/6 to the power of the number of dice, in this case 7. (1/6)^7 is 1/279,936, which is approximately 0.00036%.

I agree. If I decide to quickly change lanes in rush hour traffic, I’m checking the for a car in that lane….not a bike running between cars at speed. So many times I’ve been startled when a bike suddenly zips by. The guy giving the car driver a “what the hell” sign wasn’t fair either.

I was in Ca. for a short time, I figured if it was legal to lane split it was legal to ride the shoulder, so I was riding down the shoulder and got pulled over, I had a Pa. license and registration and I told the cop why I thought it was legal, and he said he understood my thinking, so he let me go. When I did lane split, it was only during stop-and-go traffic and I only went five or ten miles an hour. I think those guys are nuts that fly between cars.

    • @Robbedem
      @Robbedem ปีที่แล้ว

lane splitting is allowed here, but only up to 30km/h faster than the cars.
This guy was going much faster, which makes it dangerous.

I guess it's mainly Americans who think this. In the UK lane splitting is quite common (and legal) and so other vehicles probably look out for it more (though not always!). There is a generally accepted rule by the advanced motoring groups that you should never go more than 20mph faster than the traffic and never more than 40mph. What's the point of sitting in queuing traffic if you're on a bike?

I got lucky with my car. It was parked under a car port at my apartment complex. It was snowing heavily. It came down so fast that the accumulation on the car port was too much. The car port collapsed but it actually teetered over like a tree. It tipped back away from the apartment building and landed on my neighbor's truck bed. Every car was trapped under the car port excepted mine. I was driving a small hatchback Ford Focus. I was able to back my vehicle out from underneath the car port with an inch to spare. The car port clipped my antenna. I could hear a *twang* sound it made as I backed out. No one else was able to get out because their cars weren't as small as mine. Later, some wielding guys came along and dismantled the car port and built a new one. The HOA probably paid for that truck damage.

@@NetsukiWhat does common sense have to do with whether I believe someone is lucky or not?? Validate their so-called luck. With today's technology, it's easy to make anything believable. Like I said , agree to disagree.

@@charlesw.daniel490 Because this is pure math, that You can calculate with numbers. if You say that 2 + 2 isn't 4, it's not Your opinion, it's You denying the fact. If something is extremely rare occurrence even after 100 tries, then it doesn't matter if someone tried it once, twice or 40 times. There is no buts there.
You are just that kind of person that knows better than everyone and hide behind the "opinions". You won't change Your mind, because You were proven wrong. And will be even more adamant in Your opinion, because someone exposed Your incorrect thinking.
And there is no technology involved here and if You think You can easily achieve everything with help of technology, then You are naive. Or are You trying to say that this was photoshopped? If so, then say it, instead of being scared that if You accuse someone of something like that would make You sound jealous.
You just got a point and You defend that point for the sake of defending it, despite being proven wrong.

All's nice but sharks don't attack people, so the guy wasn't any luckier than any other person.
That dancing umbrella in the wind, though… it itself was amazing.
Same goes with that ball in next vid.
7 dice in a row with 4 dots? Is is 1 in around 300k or something?
    The balloon sniping was amazing.
That seagull must have been in shock when almost hitting that guy in a boat, lol.
That idiot fishing in the storm, though…
