Mainly because of trade, and when Proto-Iranian Neolithic farmers came to India with their Proto-Dravidian language (the ancestors of Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu), they borrowed words from Proto-Sino-Tibetan and Proto-Austroasiatic languages, which were already present near the Indian subcontinent. Additionally, Iranian Neolithic farmers may have had some genetic influence from Siberian groups. Korean is part of the Altaic language family, suggesting possible ancient intermixing with regions like Russia or Siberia.

@@saladmancer6950 Food and architecture, yes, that's true, but language is more debatable. Can one marriage influence language? That's a complicated question. BTW, the word "prakriti" in sanskrit and hindi means "nature" so it has been speculated that Prakrit could be the language of the birds (Refer to the story of Saint Hartmann who could speak the language of the birds). That is why sound and pronunciation is very important in Sanskrit. Both Hindi & Sanskrit are written in the Devanagri script and words are totally phonetic in nature. That is why we Indians have a neutral accent. Pali is a very very old village in Rajasthan and it still exists today; and, due to the tyranny of the then king who used to marry a new girl every day, the whole village shifted overnight to Jammu & Kashmir from Rajasthan. The Pali language is the language spoken and written by the Pandits of the village Pali. And Sanskrit is derived from these 2 languages. The 4 Vedas, Upvedas, Upanishads, The Ramayana & The Mahabharata are written in an older form of Sanskrit. All other languages of the World are in some form or the other derived from and older Sanskrit. Even European languages have many words from sanskrit. Did you know the the word "brother" comes from the sanskrit word "bhratra" which means the same thing. Likewise "Trignometry" from "Trikonmitri".
