Scott Hall back in the 90’s was one of the best villains ever. He was so cool.
Yeah from 92 to about 99 he was cool and was still decent in 2002 when he came back to WWE with Hogan and Nash in the nWo after that it was down hill for him with his drinking and drugs glad he is doing better now though and off drugs and drinking
His ladder matches with hbk were epic
@@jdirty3460 yeah Scott Hall was Awesome from 1992 to about 98 after that drinking and drugs started to wreck him and change him I think after he came back to WWE in 2002 with Nash and Hogan the nWo and was then fired that same year I think that was then end of his career and we knew it everything after that was downhill for his Wrestling career
And before that he was a great babyface in the AWA.
Aye yo.. Chico. Say ello to da bad guy
God Bless Diamond Dallas Page
DDP also saved Jake the Snake
DDP is actually Jesus
The guy has done a world of good!!
I am soooooo happy 4 Scott Hall! He was able 2 overcome it, & that's always good news! He looks great!💪
Hes amazing! Bang!
RIP Razor! Thanks for all you did for the sport. Thanks for your dedication while struggling with addictions and demons. And thanks for making my child badass. You were one of the reasons I fell in love with wrestling as a kid. We will never forget you.
Thank you for making that acknowledgement of him battling his inner demons while being here for his fans.
Bad times don’t last but Bad Guys do
You gotta put a pause between those to statements - enough time for Hall to look directly in the camera!! Chills!
"Hard work pays off, dreams come true. Bad times don't last, BUT BAD GUYS DO!" .... Best line ever
watching this makes me love DDP even more. He was able to save two people who seemed like they were beyond saving. God bless Diamond Dallas Page for saving the lives of Jake the Snake Roberts and Scott Hall.
Forgot to mention all the random fans that payed for Scott Hall's hip surgery. That's pretty badass too
Wish i would of know, i'da chipped in. Also, yes, good on DDP for helping them, but a lot of the footage I seen was DDP shamelessly plugging his Yoga wares. But, Hall is alive, guess I'll take it.
Cletus Turnbuckle Fair enough.
... He didn't save anyone. They saved themselves. Coming from a perspective of being in the same boat as these afflicted individuals, i've had a dozen DDP's try to save me. But thats a load of bullshit.. it's up to you to save yourself and nobody else can help you. It just took a matter of time for them to realize that.
He also helped Chris Jericho with chronic pain
I’m pleased to hear that Scott was able to get a handle on his problems before the end of his life. It’s terrible that he passed away in such a way that he did, but a blessing he was able to live out the rest of the time he had happy and free of the torment of his substance abuse problems. RIP Scott. And may you be an inspiration for any of those struggling. May they be inspired that if you can get clean, so can they.
DDP is a class act and has helped save a few people lives with his yoga
To be fair I’d kick off if a comedian mocked Owen Harts death too
Rob Picken have you ever watched a roast. They are way worse then that.
@@gratefulkyle1 usually they are making fun of people who are there or atleast alive to defend themselves
If you can’t handle a ROAST! Then stay home!
big mike obama completely untrue. Look at the hogan roast. They made fun of his wife and son and daughter all who weren’t there. Have you ever even watched a roast? Like seriously have you?
@@gratefulkyle1 He wrote "there or at least alive" Do you even read bro? Like seriously, do you?
The Razor Ramone character was hilarious. My mom used to do impressions of him around the house. Big hit in the household as a kid
Dude when HALL attacked that reporter for mocking owens death EVERYONE was backing him...Owen was his best friend on the road....I would have helped hold him down
daniel hirt I don't think that's true, it was a roast and Hall was wasted, joke was in poor taste but the night wasn't about him, if he had that much of a problem he should have had some class and confronted him in private.
And it was a comedian not a reporter.
Samuel Woods was a guy telling a joke but hardly a comedian. And he is right, tons of people were on Hall's side and for good reason.
richardtheconquerer not really for you to say, there are all kinds of stand up comedians, just because you don't like them doesn't change their job title. Best kind of comedy has shock value in my opinion, if you yourself are getting offended about a joke about somebody you don't know then you need shoveling in a pile with all of the other snowflakes.
Samuel Woods calling someone a snowflake at least lets me know what kind of moron you are so thanks for that.
Anyway, my point was that it was just some guy; I don't believe it was actually a professional comedian.
And shocking jokes can be great but like every joke, there's an ingredient that's far more important: being funny. His joke was lame. As far as being offended, I wasn't but I also didn't know him. Hall did. I'm sure if your mom or whoever died in some horrific way and then some lame "comedian" made a joke about it IN FRONT OF YOU, you'd probably react differently.
Hard Work Pays Off, Dreams Come True. Bad Times Don't Last, BUT BAD Guys Do. Rest in Peace Razor.
Since X Pac never gets the credit when I hear his story I'll just say this it was actually X Pac who reached out to DDP via message and then DDP reached out to Scott Hall
Yup. Just like Nash reached out to HHH to warn him HBK was in a bad way and they needed to make up. Kliq's always there for their brothers at the end of the day.
TeamEffort
rip the bad guy chico.. love that he just dropped a sick reference on vince and got paid.. hood legend
DDP sure is a great friend. Helping Snake and then Scott. I just hope everything goes well for all of them.
Libe Jenkins BANG! It’s me it’s me
It’s DDP! Ddp = the man!
I don't know what DDP's secret is, but as someone who has worked with numerous people in recovery (and, often, relapse), I'm damn impressed. Good on ya, Dallas.
zooropa04 TheAustin83 there’s been a lot of things I been thru with alcohol .. and ima tell you ... DDP did his job as a friend but it’s really on the person so Scott needs just as much credit ...
RIP Scott Hall/Razor Ramon. 💔🙏🏾😥
Nitpick but Hall didn't reach out to Page.
Page reached out to Hall.
Minor but I think Page deserves the credit
This is true. Though in order for Hall to get the help he needed, he had to reach back.
That's How It Works, dude. Can't keep it unless you give it away.
Jake was a huge part of getting Scott to accept the help
201wudy Technically DDP was the the big reason
Who you think convinced Jake Robert’s to go to rehab
Rip big man. Best WWF superstar of the early to mid 1990s
His continued sobriety is amazing & an extremely difficult day 2 day battle & the triumph over his addictions is phenomenal 👏
❤LovePeopleWhoKnowTheStruggle🤘
🖤
He was so jacked in the late 80's. Crazy big.
I am truly glad that Scott Hall was able to get his life back together. "Bad times don't last forever, but Bad Guys Do!"
As an addict in recovery, fair play to Scott Hall.
Kudos to DDP as well, probably saved Scotts life!
You are totally right when you say addiction is a family disease, great video, took this one to heart for sure!
RIP SCOTT HALL LEGEND!!!!!~ GOT ME INTO WRESTLING & WEIGHTLIFTING
Hall damaging the WWE reputation?? Vince does that enough by himself!!!
Cee Eee WWE Reputation been damaged since the 90’s
😂
Glad he's still doing well. Diamond Dallas is a life-saver.
Scott Hall will always be my #1. The Bad Guy is a legend.
;------)
❤Str8Up
I agree, my favorite ever, by far!!!!
Rest in Peace Scott Hall!! Came to watch this to see his triumphs over his personal demons.
Once i noticed, i believe it was Halloween Havoc '97 maybe '98 , the ref gave Scott Hall a pill midmatch, he swallowed it and kept the match going.
Thanks to DDP yoga
I'd say... thanks to having DDP has a damn good friend.
+Brandon Roberts DDP should be a Saint now hahavaha
.....And that's a good thing!
Brandon Roberts Saved Hall and Jake Roberts. Give Paige a medal.
right DDP should get a nobel prize for his work
The "60 Minutes" of professional wrestling!
"It's Sports Entertainment, dammit!"
Vincent Kennedy McMahon
He was at his best as Razor Ramon, THE BAD GUY with the Razors Edge!! Thank God for people like DDP!!
RIP Scott
Shut up shut up
3 Heart attacks....man I hope you get through this Scott
According to Sting, Scott Hall was the person to come up with the "crow" concept for him.
He really is a genius
Ricardo Reyes or he watches too many movies lol.
It's really not hard to watch a movie and come up with a concept, just saying🙄🙄🙄🙄
Ruhe in Frieden Scott und vielen Dank für all die Erinnerungen die du uns gegeben hast . Für mich warst du der beste und der coolste . 😭
Razor Ramon is my all time favorite gimmick/character. Not only did Hall have the ultimate Badguy look, his in-ring work was damn good.
One Of My Favorite Superstars Of My Childhood. Razor Ramon.
So if it wasn't for Hall's quick thinking we would've gotten G.I. Yo instead of Razor Ramon.
Exactly. It's instances like that which show drugs arn't bad all of the time.
And Instead Of Undertaker G.I. Mean Mark Bro I'm Glad That Undertaker Got The Fuck Out Of There Before That Bullshit Occurred
Here after hearing that he will be taken off Life Support today. I never knew he went through all of this.
I was sad watching it but at the end he changed his life the part that touched me was when he said “you can’t even keep a promise and it sucks when you can’t a promise to yourself” wow!!!
My fav my dad's fav.. he looked a little like scott.. my mom's fav too.. but honestly the only super cool super smart and very genuine human being.. I'm battling a similar situation.. and I've BN at it for 7+yrs.. n can relate and identify with the situations very clearly.. I just wish I'd stop drinking n smoking completly for good and be cool with it.. please pray for me .. my kid needs me my mom needs to see her son that she raised my friends i need myself to be better n get better... He is very right when the video plays how he tells his kids.. drugs n alcohol work they are fun but you can't stop once you start and it's n everyday battle to be sober n clean.. this video has told me that it can be done n I feel a little relaxed that if these guys who were doing way more shit than im doing can clean up so can I.. thanks to the uploader Thanks to Scott Hall .. I've BN watching wrestling since I was like 8-9 with my dad sitting in his chair .. the first time I gave up a toy to focus on what's going on TV.. my dad was cheering for Ric Flair his fav n the match was between warrior n Ric n hmm... Kinda on rant here I shud stop thanks all.. just cool memories.. 😎😎
🙏
Just set your mind to it, you can do it if you really want to. If you have problems with alcohol then it's a good idea to get help from your Dr. It's not something that you can safely stop without help, it can actually kill you.
DDP what a gem of person he is❤
RIP Scott Hall, a legendary heel! Named my black lab after him in the 90’s
so sad to hear the news he passed away. RIP Scott
RIP SCOTT HALL. DDP u were there for Scott. What a friend.
Rest in peace #Nwa Scott Hall, #Wwf Razor Ramón, and #Wcw Scott Hall :(
Hard Work pay off, dreams come true, bad days don't last but bad guys do......RIP Razor Ramon / Scott Hall
RIP bad guy! One of my favourites whilst I was growing up. I done the Razors edge on a classmate on school field. Good videos as well, professional done.
On the "plane ride from hell" they actually thought Scott Hall was dead when they landed. He was so wasted. Had to be taken off the plane in a wheelchair.
Greatest wrestler to never win a world championship
Hall, Piper, Roberts
Yet jack fucking swagger has more world championships than them guys crazy
Mr. perfect and Dibiase (unless you count the brief time Andre beat Hogan and Dibiase payed off Andre for the belt).
Hall, Piper, Perfect, Roberts... Owen Hart
Channel ZERO agreed Owen and perfect the best to never win the world title.
It's fucked up when Kevin Nash is the soberest one in the group.
he must have had a really fucked up life that's crazy Shi though honestly
He looked better in 2014 and at RAW 25 then he did from 2000 - 2011, in my opinion.
Yeah but his best years was from 1992 till 1998 after that he started slowly look bad year by year
Rip, Bad Guy.
RIP to an absolute legend
One of my all time favorite Wrestling Superstars! Im glad his doing better these days! After loosing so many over the years, Savage and Warrior hit me the hardest. Elizabeth also, yeah you might have grown up seeing them like i did on a weekly basis through your Tv screen, but you do over time develope a sort of love or relationship for the Superstars you know and love. Im just glad he's still with us Today. He's still one of the greats regardless of his demons.
Undertaker Has His Demons Inside Of Him He Made Them Rest In Peace
What scared me was when he told DDP he was dying and he needed help
Such a great story man...there's a whole army of us living one day at a time
Kyle W. Just for today, indeed.
I was in attendance for that TRP show in April 2011 (11:20-12:00).. the fan quote is on the money. It was truly heartbreaking and absolutely painful to watch. That's a hospital bracelet on his wrist.
Rest in peace bad guy the mistakes of the past will hopefully inspire the present to do better🙌🙌
My Favorite Wrestler of All Time.. Glad He's done Well yet
I’m rewatching this video again and first time I watched this I realised Hall and I were both born on the 20th October (but different years, I’m a few decades younger)
Sooo happy he turned his life around! Looks great today!
Yeah glad he is doing better but he looks older than 60 I mean Nash is 59 and still In great shape and allmost looks like he did 15 years ago minus the grey hair
adam pruitt ehh I’d say he looks just slightly older than 60 not by much tho surprisingly
I was really curious about Raisor Ramon. I did not know his life was this dark
One thing you guys got wrong, Scott Hall didn't reach out to DDP, DDP reached out to Scott Hall after hearing about how down and out he was. Overall, good video, i enjoy all of the videos you guys put together
I met Scott Hall~ Razor Ramon in the Poconos at the Fernwood Resort and it was a party all night long he was actually really cool to me we left at like 7 in the morning and he asked me hey are you okay man I said yeah I got to go to work but he was really nice to me he was so cool and I'm glad to see he's back in shape and doing healthy if he remembers me that would be something else I was Captain Lou s vip... that night
YES! My life is complete!!
Can’t wait for the next Behind The Titantron
Rip Scott hall you’ll forever be a legend in my eyes
RIP Razor
RIP bad guy 🙏
It’s not just wrestlers. Literally EVERYONE with an addiction issue finds that sobriety is a “day to day struggle”. However, wrestlers could find staying sober especially difficult because of their travel schedule, the fact that they are constantly dealing with nagging injuries to their beat up bodies, and the fact that they potentially have a lot of disposable income. The fact is that they have the money on the road, they’re sitting bored in a hotel room in a city in which you have no support, feeling beat up and sore, and it becomes very easy to make a poor choice in a weak moment. I feel for Scott. I’m glad he’s clean now. I hope he can find the strength to stay that way.
arguably the coolest wrestler off all time..the real Bad guy Scott hall
That ladder match vs Shawn Michael's 🔥🔥🔥 one of the best matches ever !
I like how in WCW, they billed him from "The Diamond Mine".
This video was great. I haven't heard about Scott Hall for years and the last time was him being in a wheelchair and it broke my heart since he was a favorite as a kid watching WWE and WCW. Glad he is doing well nowadays
Rip legend😞
I'm happy DDP was willing to take that on, he is a genuine good person. Prayers for every one struggling.
RIP Scott Hall
RIP
This...makes me so very, very happy! I loved Scott Hall as a kid and it's so good to see he's taken his life back and is living happy and healthy. Great vid!
Scott Hall is the greatest singular talent the wrestling world has ever seen. The guy had it all. Never been anyone else like him. A sliver shorter than Hogan at Hogan’s tallest. Storytelling work ability and psychology in the class of Michaels and Hart, Promo skills in the class of Rock and Stone Cold. The fans were begging wcw to force Hogan to count the lights for him and Nash, wanting the Outsiders to turn on Hogan together thus claiming the main event. That’s what needed to happen, turn them babyface and have Bret Hart join them, replacing Hogan in the nwo (now a babyface brand) Montreal Survivor Series through Wrestlemania with Stone Cold decided the war. Wcw spit in it’s fans faces.and never truly recovered. The fans gave them more time to pull the trigger on it, they didn’t leave until it became obvious they weren’t going to see Hogan forced to lose to Hall or Hart. That’s what the fans were demanding, as they were clearly the favorites of wrestling fans around the nation. Sting was over, but he was really beloved by the former southeastern territories. Hall and Hart were beloved by wrestling fans around the world for their ring work and psychology. But Hall had even more than that and the fans were captivated by his undeniable talent and charisma. Him never winning the big one is the biggest travesty in the history of the business.
The pain in a smile to entertain all is a responsibility. One thing he said that I believe hold heartedly is it sucks when you can't keep a promise to yourself
THE RISE AND FALL AND RISE AGAIN
Scott Hall/Razor Ramon is one of my favorite wrestlers!! It's awesome to see her is keeping up the good work and staying healthy and happy. Also what DDP-YOGA does is awesome, can't say enough about it!!!
"I was one of those guys who didn't drink and stuff
until really late in life," Hall said when asked when his addiction
issues surfaced. "Of course as a teen I tried stuff, a sip of beer and
stuff like that, (but) I didn't start really drinking what I would call
abusively or alcoholically until my mid-30s, which is kind of late. And I
(had even) worked in bars." - Scott Hall
Wrestling environment is mostly to blame I believe. If it was genetics he would of been drinking heavy at a way younger age in my opinion.
......."Hey yo.."
*AUDIENCE EXPLODES*
I was there the night of the shooting at the DOLL HOUSE. I remember Scott quite well. Just found out he became a wrestler. Wow for some reason I don't remember him looking like this haha wow you go Scott
RIP to the bad guy. Rest easy Scott Hall 🖤
I always thought he was amazing as a teenager.
I never knew he was going through such pain.
Personally I think this is your best episode to date. Thank you for doing this one. It has been amazing to see Scott make the most important and impressive comeback.
Thank God for DDP cause The Bad Guy is still with us Behind The Titantron is just brilliant Wrestlelamia keep it up.
Every Saturday morning i was Razzza Raamooon! And my big bro was Diesel. All time favorite. Glad he help to find his way back.
👍 great recovery! Good inspiration!
My favorite wrestler of all time. Please stay clean Scott. You're a legend 🙏🏼
R.I.P Razor 🪒
THE BADGUY was my favorite character wrestler growing up I had every scott hall toy and I was so bumed when he spiraled. So I'm super happy that he's turned it all around
Do the lita love triangle
oh kay “YOU SCREWED MATT”
RIP Scott Hall aka Razor Ramon
His Razor Ramon character in WWF from 92 to early 96 was Cool and I remember when Scott Hall came through the crowd on WCW Monday Nitro back in May of 1996 He was so cool and so Cocky Then Nash Showed up a few weeks later and The Outsiders were Born and that was the Start of what led to the nWo forming at Bash at The Beach in July of 1996 with Hogan Hall and Nash 96 and 97 nWo ruled Wrestling
I remember him in cowboy hat n best in awa
